Chương 8: Chapter 8:Towards Kanto we go!
Ace was standing in the training grounds that were made outside the Pokemon centre's. Serena was standing behind him nervously as Fenneken,Naruto and Zoro were also present ready if something happened."Come out!"Ace shouted as he threw a Pokeball in the air.The Pokeball opened and a gigantic Pokemon,the Crystal Onix, emerged from it.It was still injured as Ace has to first tame him before he is given for treatment as it could be dangerous for nurse joy.
"Onix!"Ace shouted as Onix looked at Ace with wary eyes.He knew that he was caught by this human,so he was naturally wary of him."Don't worry,I am not going to harm you.I just want to talk to you."Ace said as Onix still looked warily at him,before he shaked his head a little, indicating he was listening."Onix,my dream is to become the pokemon master.Who is Considered to be the strongest trainer in the world and the best trainer who could solve any situation he finds himself in."
Ace said as Onix listened intently, intrigued by the strongest Pokemon trainer idea."To do that,I will have to face many challenges before I fight Red,the current Pokemon master.And to fight the strongest trainer,I will need to unit the strongest Pokemon team.That is why I caught you.I think you have the potential to become the strongest Steelix.So i thought that the strongest Steelix is definitely needed for the future Pokemon master."Ace finished his sentence as he showed Onix the Pokeball that caught him."If you are willing to give me a chance to help me in my goal,them bump with this Pokeball.If not,then I am willing to release you."
Hearing the last sentence, everyone was surprised, including Onix himself.Who in the world would release a Pokemon that was one of its kind.But what Ace said was the truth.He will not keep Onix if Onix was not willing to fight.He was not like Paul who is cruel to his Pokemon.If he follows anyone's footsteps at taking care of his Pokemon,then it's Ash's from kalos region arc.Because that was his favourite.So he will not force Onix and diligently release him to his cave.
Onix contemplated for a bit as everyone were waiting with bated breaths at his dicision.'If you promise to really achieve your dream and make me the strongest Steelix,then one day I will happily remember how we met today.'Onix said as he touched the Pokeball with his snot."It's a promise,Kuzan!"Ace said excitedly as everyone was happy that everything went well.Ace soon returned Kuzan and gave him to nurse joy to recover.
Ace and Serena returned to their room to rest for the night,but then at midnight,there was a knocking on Ace's door which woke him up.Ace yawned as he opened the door and was surprised to find Serena here with her pillow and blanket."H-hey Ace,mind if I sleep with you.I had a bad dream and couldn't sleep."Serena said as she was blushing bright red but her eyes had a resolve that Ace couldn't see due to it being dark.
"S-sure Serena."Ace said as he blushed a little at letting a girl sleep in his room.
He let Serena in,before he closed the door.They went towards the bed before Ace took his pillow and blanket and put them on the sofa."You can sleep on the bed, don't worry,I am near you,so noth-".Ace was cut off by Serena."You can sleep with me in the bed.Its ok, I trust you."Serena spoke as she took the blushing Ace's hand and brought him to the bed.The both of them slept with their backs facing eachother.But in the morning they somehow ended up with Serena on top of Ace.
The both of them had seperated out of embarassment and did not comment about it.Soon they had breakfast before the both of them went to train at the training grounds.The training was same for Fenneken and Zoro,but Naruto was given the task to learn the move cut.Ace had showed Naruto the move with his phone and gave him the basic idea about it.As for Kuzan,he first checked his move pool which was pretty good.
Iron tail,bite,stone edge,rock tomb,Ice ball and ice beam! Clearly Kuzan underestimated Zoro and Naruto when he fought if he didn't use the other moves.Anyways,Kuzan was told to use rock tomb to try and control as many boulders as he can and move them here and there to refine his control on moving them.He was trying to create a technique he saw in a fanfiction about a person reincarnated into brocks brother who had a lairon who could use rock tomb and control hundreds of boulder's.When he had stated the idea to Kuzan,he was pumped up to master the move to that degree.
After some training,Ace and Serena battled some trainers in the battle rooms as those rooms were created for trainers to battle to earn money or gain experience.Ace still remembers the shocked expression a person who uses an Exeggutor had when he sent out Kuzan.Kuzan had blocked Exeggutor's path with rock tombs and parried his egg bombs with stone edge before he finished the match with ice beam.
After rounding out some money,Ace and Serena decided to stock up some supplies before they went to the port.There they booked a ferry that goes to vermilion city.When Ace found out the time it will take to reach vermilion city,he almost laughed a little as when he reaches it,ash would have likely caught the starter trio and would have just reached vermilion or was leaving vermilion. So there was a chance to meet the protagonist!Anyways,Ace and Serena boarded the ship as Ace looked at the sky and muttered,"Kanto region,here I come."
