"WE WON!"Ace shouted as he ran towards Kuzan who opened his eyes a little."Great job buddy.You were awesome out there!We have just taken the first step for our dream."Ace hugged Onix and congratulated him happily."Don't worry about this tie ok,when I am done Training you to your full potential and had also evolved you, you will likely give Red's Charizard a run for his money."Ace told Onix who grunted in happiness.'Yeah, I can't wait for that day.'He said before he fell asleep as Ace smiled and returned him.
Surge walked up to Ace and did a handshake with him."You are really strong,brat.Even under the pressure and my taunting,you pulled through.I have to say,that was an amazing battle I had in a while."Surge said as Ace smiled.He knew it!Surge intentionally taunts and pressure's trainers as gym leaders are there to teach trainers a lesson,with surge giving the lesson to keep a clear head during battle and not to fall for the taunts.
"Thank you Mr.Surge.But it was all thanks to my friends that I could win this battle."Ace thanked surge before he was distracted by a flying missile known as Serena as he quickly caught her."Ace!Congratulations,you won!"Serena cheered in happiness while Ace was trying to balance himself."Wow there Serena,calm down."Ace chuckled a little as he put Serena down.He then looked behind Serena and was surprised by the Kanto trio."You are...."Ace muttered as he didn't expect to meet Ash,Brock and Misty in the gym.
"My name is Ash Ketchum and this is Pikachu."Ash said as Pikachu gave a salute and a 'Yo!'."My name is Brock."Brock introduced himself."And I am Misty.That was a nice battle you had there. Congratulations!" Misty said as she winked at Ace,who didn't quite get the gesture but Serena did as she sent misty a small glare.
"Ace."Surge called as Ace turned towards him.He saw Surge taking a badge that was kept on a tray that the referee had brought.It was the thunder badge!"For defeating me fairly and showing that you can still fight under pressure,i present to you,the Thunder Badge."Surge gave Ace the thunder badge. Ace looked at his first Badge with a shit eating grin before he pulled out a case from his pocket and placed the badge inside.
"Thank you very much sir."Ace again thanked surge who just laughed it off.Ash challanged surge after Ace was done talking,but surge just had a battle and since his Pokemon were fainted,he postponed Ash's battle for tomorrow.Our duo were joined by the Kanto trio as they made their way towards the Pokemon center while talking about random things,many of which was Brock asking about Ace's Onix.
Ace gave his Pokemon to nurse joy, except Naruto who was outside as he didn't take any damage in the battle.He was eating his favourite spicy Pokemon food as he was also happy about their first victory.It was odd that a water Pokemon loved spicy food but whatever, everyone has their own taste."Hey Ace."Ash called ace out of his musings."After watching your match,I think I will need some training before I fight surge,so I was wondering if you can help in by a Pokemon battle."Ash asked excitedly as Ace was a tough opponent given by the battle he saw today,so fighting him will benifit ash greatly.
"Sure,why not.But it will be a 1 on 1 as my other Pokemon are healing."Ace said as Ash agreed and the group moved towards the training grounds."Pikachu,I choose you!."Ash said as he sent Pikachu to battle.'You are going down.'Pikachu said as he made a running position to be nimble for the upcoming battle."Naruto,it's showtime."Ace said as Naruto jumped on the battlefield as he did a hand gesture that 'Naruto' did to Isshiki.'Come on,Pikachu.Let me show you what true power is.'
"I will be the referee for this battle,are Both sides ready."Brock said as Serena and Misty were cheering both ash and ace for a good battle.The viewer's saw an image of Ace on the right side with Naruto and Ash on the left with Pikachu,with a big VS in the middle."Let the battle begin!"
"Pikachu,use quick attack!"Ash said as Pikachu blitzed towards Naruto.'Fast!'Ace and Naruto thought as Ace was a little surprised but got over it when he remembered what he had seen on Pikachu's information.It was the 1st with the legendary potential in the Pikachu list and had a hidden ability that will let it be strong or equal against strong or equal opponents,but the drawback is that If the opponent is weak,it will also become weak.
"Naruto,use Quick attack into Cut!"Ace said as Naruto also blitzed at Pikachu and they clashed with each other,with Pikachu surprising everyone when his tail turned into metal."That's iron tail, Pikachu learned a new move!"Ash shouted excited while Ace sweat dropped at the luck of the protagonist.Naruto and Pikachu clashed against eachother with high speeds as they were on equal footing.
"Use water pulse."Ace said as Pikachu barely dodged the water pulse.Since Naruto had learnt to make rasengan quickly,water pulse was like walking in the park to him as he can instantly use it."Double team!"Both Ash and Ace shouted as the Pokemon made Clones of each other as the sounds of quick attack and clashing of cut and iron tail echoed on the field.
"Let's increase the pressure, Pikachu use thunderbolt!"Ash said as Pikachu shouted,'Take this!'A discharge of lighting attacked the Naruto clones as Pikachu's thunderbolt was strong,only slightly below Raichu."Naruto,block with Rasengan.Lets set our battlefield.Use bubble attack!"Naruto blocked the bolts of lighting by using rasengan as a shield.Then he started making more clones as his mouth spat out torents of bubbles in the sky and around the battlefield.They were not touching Pikachu,but were filling the field,what kind of strategy is this? Everyone thought this question,but then they were dumbfounded by what happened next.
"Naruto,jump and hit tactic!Use quick attack and cut!"Naruto shockingly started jumping from bubble to bubble as they burst from his feet and increased his speed!He was flashing around Pikachu and hitting him before jumping to another bubble,poping it and slashing at Pikachu again."P-Pikachu,use thunderbolt on the ground!"Ash shouted as Pikachu used thunderbolt on the ground.Naruto avoided the attack as he returned to Ace,with the bubbles being Destroyed by Pikachu.But he was slightly winded.
"That was an amazing tactic,I never knew a weak attack like bubble could be used like this!"Misty shouted as she looked at Ace with admiration,while Serena shot her another glare while smirking as she said."Well,Ace had prepared it with my help.We took so many days working together to help Naruto learn it."There were sparks of electricity between Serena and Misty as Brock was scared,while the battling duo didn't pay attention to them.
"Ace,you are incredible.I didn't know moves could be used like that."Ash said as Ace just smiled."It's nothing,but now....."Ace adjusted his cap as his eyes glowed with a blue light in the caps shade."Playtime is over."Ace put his hand forward."Naruto, finish it with dark rasengan!"Ash was alarmed as rasengan was a powerful move he had seen used by ace.He was shocked that Ace had made this move,but he knew how powerful it was as according to Serena,that giant crystal Onix which put brocks Onix to shame was sent flying several meters after being hit by it and was Koed.
"But dark rasengan?No,it's no time to think! Pikachu use quick attack to run around the battlefield and use thunderbolt if he gets close!Don't let it hit you!"Ash shouted as Pikachu started running around the battlefield.Everyone watched as Naruto put his hands together in a spinning motion,before a rasengan was created.Then Naruto's hand has a dark saber,which was night slash that Naruto was learning after mastering cut.The dark saber was absorbed by the rasengan and it turned black with red lightning hear and there.
"Rasengan absorbed night slash and became a combo move of Dark and water type."Brock said,shocked alongside the others."Quick attack and catch him!"Ace ordered as Naruto followed Pikachu around the battlefield,with Pikachu trying to run,but then something shocking happened,as Naruto was running,his body was starting to glow!
"Naruto's evolving!"Ace shouted excitedly as Naruto became bigger with his frobbles coming towards his back.His head had dark blue scales as his body had light blue in the front and dark blue in the back.He had became a Frogadier!.Naruto roared as he increased his speed tremendously and hit Pikachu,who was gonna attack with thunderbolt by Ash's order,with Dark Rasengan!
There was an explosion as a dark energy water tornado appeared in the battlefield.It lasted for 5 seconds before it disappeared, revealing an uncounciois Pikachu in the middle of a crater,with Naruto phanting as he was also hit by the attack.'We will have to work on this.Naruto's control will have to improve till he can throw the rasengan variations.Until then,it is a last resort.'Ace thought as he and ash went towards their respective Pokemon,with Brock declaring Ace the winner.
