For the second time and in an uncomfortable situation, Vukan entered the hospital with his heart already about to tear through his chest as he called on a nurse for assistance. 

"What happened to her?" the nurse asked while she examined Lee and ordered for a gurney. 

Stuttering and almost missing his lines, he managed to lie, "She tripped and fell". 

"Okay, how far along is she with her pregnancy?" the nurse asked while they rushed Lee down towards one of the theatres. 

Vukan had no idea how far along she was, and couldn't denote how he would tell the nurse. 

"Aren't you her husband?" the woman asked. 

"Err… yes, I am and the pregnancy is… ", he went blank once again. 

There was no helping it; all he did was make himself into a horrible man as he watched Lee finally arrive in the theatre. 

"Is she going to be fine?" he asked the nurse. "Please, she has to be fine… I beg you!"
