Soon the classes went on one after another. During these hours, I completely ignored Max, making myself busy with work. Finally, he made his way to me when the lecturer was late for the next class.
"Oh hello!" He said in a playful manner.
I gave my most lethargic look and raised my eyes to look at him. He instantly read the look that I faked. "Seems like you were up the whole night." He said with a quirked brow. I yawned and nodded. "Pretty much." I then said.
"And with what you were occupied with?" He asked. I then lifted my finger and said. "Rule number one, do not ask about my sleepless nights."
"Fine, fine. What have you done to your hand?" He then asked without further delaying the question that was hanging on his lips.
"Oh, this. The bread slipped and I sliced my hand." I said. "Nothing much." I then added.
"You were using the knife with the left hand." He asked surprisingly.
"Yeah, my sleepy self," I said. He then shook his head.
