The Emperor watched as the Empress rose up to stand but she was no longer paying any attention to him. She didn't even take another look at him, instead she just simply turned around.

There was something else she had to do and made her way towards the baby crate that stood solely in one corner of the room.

Hui Lan probed her head over the crate to take a look at the little prince and could see him cry like a tomato head.

Seeing that he was crying so vigorously, she revealed a warm smile for the little guy.
