Chương 292: Beneath the Mask (III)

A cloud of black smoke slithered through the corners of the windows and doors of Mei Lin Palace. It swirled around the two large majestic beasts that were sleeping on the floor and gained its speed when it found its prey. It was 

Beyond the lady that was sleeping on the bed, there laid a young baby infant, who was playing by himself in his crib. 

Xiao Ming looked at his little hands that didn't reach the edge of the crib and giggled. He found it funny how his hands caught nothing but air.

But all of a sudden, the soft light that came from above his crib was slowly replaced by something dark, something ominous, something unlikeable. 

The sparkle in Xiao Ming's eyes slowly disappeared. His small brows were now closely knitted together.

Soon his vision became dark and he could no longer see the warm light from before.

Fear gripped his heart, Xiao Ming felt the urge to cry as he couldn't speak or relay his thoughts.
