Chương 95: Serpent Society
While the world outside was going through many changes, commander Steve and Bucky were hurt badly in confrontation with two new enemies, Stark was ousted from his own company, and Phil was focused on his kids.
After a long 5 hour of experiment, all of his three kids came out of the chamber. The outer physical appearance didn't change much but Phil could feel new strong energy flowing inside their bodies.
Deciding to take them to Quantum Realm for further training and creating an excuse for their rapid development, Phil asked Melina to prepare for their Quantum Realm journey.
Informing the only expert in Quantum Realm, Hank Pym and their operations head Nick Fury with the excuse of training the next generation of Avengers, Phil sat in the modified Quinjet with his family and directly started the Quantum tunnel.
Phil had no idea that just after he left the real world, Tony Stark finally accepted his evolution and said the famous words "I am Iron Man" and fought with Stane.
With Phil and his family gone, Hank and his wife taking an early retirement and Master Mordo and Gaea (Singularity) gone with their mission, Nick had to dispatch the latest additions to Shadow Isles.
Black Bolt with his wife Medusa hopped on the Quinjet to support 'Iron Man' Tony Stark in his rescue mission.
Besides, Nick watched the footage of the fight between Bucky and the latest guy Predator and was intrigued by his bio enhancements.
He wanted to know who was the one hiding in the shadow helping and providing new types of equipment to these guys. Who made the Quinjet that was destroyed in their fight? Who gave these suits to Taskmaster and Predator?
Nick had a long list of questions and as a professional spy, his nose and instinct for conspiracy were far greater than anyone in the team.
Hence, keeping all the matters aside, Nick focused on searching for the rats hiding in shadow but even with the help of the three most powerful AIs on the planet and the resource to hack all digital files, he came up empty.

Somewhere, a group of people, dressed in different costumes were sitting around a round table reading the latest mission report.
Their leader was wearing a simple Prada men's suit with a unique snake logo on the pocket. Everyone would call him Sidewinder.
Their organisation recently came into existence with him recruiting different people with special abilities across the globe. All of these people had a different relationship with snakes and somehow their powers were also linked with them.
Hence, he called this organisation, the Serpent Society.
Many might consider Hydra as the evilest organisation or AIM but it is always the one which is in front of us that we miss. This is the case with Roxxon Oil Company.
This company has controlled nations, created wars, and resulted in genocides and all of this is for pure profit. Money.
They have no goals of world domination, but they have enough financial powers to tilt the world as per their objectives. Their leader is still unknown, and a group of directors hold this company through multiple proxy companies located in different Tax Heavens.
This company is as old as America itself and its traces can be seen in every country. They control your banks, and your pension funds, and have branches that are responsible for checking IMF and many more.
Hydra is a group of power-hungry individuals who wants to subvert the world order, and Roxxon is a group of people who control this world as it is.
Serpent society leader, Sidewinder was originally a Mercenary born in Kenosha, Wisconsin. He received a mission from Roxxon group executives to retrieve a mysterious artefact from a temple submerged in water near the ruins of Lemuria.
The water was filled with the deadliest snakes known to mankind and it will interfere with any machine that was sent near to probe the site. Hence the mission reached the hands of Sidewinder.
A man was known to have certain telepathic communication abilities with snakes and was powerful enough in the Mercenary world.
Sidewinder faced countless life-threatening situations before finding the artefact, The Serpent Crown and a cloak that had the ability to teleport.
In the next 10 months, while the world faced an alien attack, he went on recruiting these talented individuals with the promise of greater access to data and tools, guaranteed pay scale, insurance, medical, pension plans and above all, never be locked up again in their lives.
Thanks to the support of the Roxxon group that felt threatened by the change in the world order, they grew rapidly like mushrooms in the rainy season and now the whole society was much like a company doing business.
"It seems Taskmaster and Predator failed in their attacks – Pity!"
Sidewinder said with a mocking expression. Everyone seated around the table already expected such a result even before they gave the mission to the duo. Thankfully, the duo failed, and the serpent society's plan was successful.
Now, they were sure of an organisation that was hunting all criminals in the dark and they found two members of the same organisation. This organisation had a similar financial ability to Roxxon and was secretive enough to hide its presence under the nose of all Spy agencies and Governments.
"Send the report to Roxxon. They should be happy to know that we fulfilled our end of bargain." Sidewinder handed the report to the Roxxon representative and the room was left with only members of Snake Society.
These members are :-
Seth Voelker - known as Sidewinder, the leader
Blanche Sitznski - known as Anaconda, previously working as Black Widow agent trainers and their chief
Tanya Sealy - known as Black Mamba, a bio enhanced being with light telepathic abilities and born with the power to project a cloud of darkforce energy.
Roland Burroughs - known as Death Adder, mercenary mutated with an aquatic animal
Together with these people acting as the backbone of the organisation, there are many others who are working with them.
The avengers had no idea that before they can move towards the Earth Federation, they had to face Roxxon and their teams have to face Serpent Society.
