Chương 36: Events in one night

The world seemed to slow down and the stars in the sky twinkled brightly. The sounds of water pouring into the pool was heard in the background as Kissa's hair started glowing gently.

Kissa's hair turned silver due to the glow and stood in the air like there was wind coming from underneath them.

Their lips slowly parted and Kissa's eyes were still closed. She was still savouring the sweet pleasure she derived from just the kiss.

"I'm not avoiding you Kissa." He finally said when she opened her her eyes

"Then where have you been?" She asked with her hands on his chest.

"I had to get everything in Kissa. I felt you did like me but being your true love, your soulmate, I don't know if I deserve you Kissa." Cairo looked up at the brightly lit moon that was high up in the sky.

"Every thing and every person I value. Everyone that's I cared for and loved all left me."

"Cairo, I won't leave you. I already told you that I'll be here if you need me and even when you don't. I meant that." Kissa replied and a slight smile appeared on his lips after a sigh of relief.

"Yes I know." He replied. "Aren't you supposed to lose your powers when you get close to a man?"

"Not this kind of close, but this will be risky Cairo." Kissa sighed.

"This life is all about risks Kissa. Very soon, I'll get you out of here. Believe me when I say I will. When I get you out of here, we'll go to a place where even Asim is scared of crossing the gates and you shall be my queen." Cairo held her hands before kissing her forehead gently.

Kissa felt butterflies in her tummy. All the feelings she had never felt before came rushing into her, which was still really new to her system.

"Kissa, will you two stop your lovey dovey thing now and get back here before Asim loses it." Layla's voice called in Kissa's head and she let go of Cairo.

"I need to go back in." Kissa said and Cairo nodded as he watched her walk away.

As he watched her walk away, the eagle that delivers his message landed on his shoulders and he removed the letter strapped to it.

Kissa didn't see Cairo all night again but she didn't mind, she was just happy he was back and she had her very first kiss with him.

Layla on the other hand was standing on the balcony of her new room with Cairo there in the room with her.

"They sent me another message. I'm sure he's going to do something foolish if he isn't stopped." Cairo facepalms with a frustrated groan.

"I just came back from a long trip and now I'm here again trying to think of what to do about yhim ruining everything that has been set up?"

"You ahev to relax and think Cairo. Right now, all you need is rest. I'm sure you haven't had a proper one. You know that now, you'll have to be closer to her to keep her safe and she'll leave for the village tomorrow morning." Layla reminded and he couldn't help but sigh in frustration again.

"Are you actually going to sleep with Asim? Like you actually are going to do it?" Cairo asked in a disgusted tone.

"Of course. When last did I have a man? It's been long since I got ditched already." Layla hissed before snapping her fingers. "You should get out now and let me go back to his room."

"I'm surprised how you aren't in the concubine's quarters yet." Cairo shook his head as he walked out of the room.

As Cairo walked back towards the servants quarters, a figure stood in the shadows looking at him before looking towards Kissa's quarters.

In a speed of lighting, the figure disappeared into the deep darkness.

In Asim's room, Kissa walked out of the bathroom with her towel wrapped around her chest.

Asim was laying in bed, half naked, with the blankets covering the lower half of his body.

Layla could tell age didn't show on him at all because he still looked like he was in his early thirties.

"Are you ready to show me what you're capable of tonight? You haven't shown me since all these days." Asim raised his brows and she climb into the bed and laid on him.

"Of course. I'm pretty sure you're both excited and scared I'll knock the energy out of you." Layla said as she started kissing his neck as he grabbed her buttocks harshly, his manhood rising and pressing against her waist.

"Sure, let me see how you plan on doing that." Asim siad with a wicked smirk.

Lapis sat on her bed as she clicked her to the angrily. "I've had enough of this already. I'm the only one who is getting punished for this. Now she would join Kissa's list and soon he'll make her get pregnant for him."

Lapis stood up and smashed the vase nearby against the wall and let out an angry groan.
