Chương 4: Ch.4

" Elba...heib" I tried to pronounce the word out loud but failed miserably due to still being a baby.

My parents laughed and praised me for almost being able to pronounce the word

"Look at that honey, he is progressing fast! He can almost say big words!" Dad exclaimed in surprise

Mom said, "Yeah, you are right! Look at you! My little man is getting smart and smart day by day" She finished with holding me up and smothering me in kisses.

I forced a happy smile but I was troubled.

It sent chills down my spine ever since today when I learnt of Elfenheim

It took me forever to learn of this due to the language barrier and I still am not fluent into reading it since it is kind of complex...fuck...it grills me remembering the first time I tried to read it.

'These letters are so dumb and difficult, UGH!'

*Sigh* I got back to thinking..

'Elfenheim, Elfenheim...where have I heard of this...? More importantly, how am I here?'

Nothing has made sense up until now. The questions are brewing again ever since "Tartarus".

Did I die? If not, then how am I reincarnated into another soul or life? Why am I here?

Ugh, there is too many variables man....crap....

It would be a lie if I said I was not terrified. I was just still a growing adult and a teenager before all of this back home. I had never gotten my first car, never gotten my "first time", never explored the outside of my own world.....Never got to live my life fully and say goodbye to my family or see the new JJK movie....

This is more depressing than I thought...

There could be a couple possible outcomes of why I am:

1. I may have had my prayers answered to be transferred to another world after begging for a whole year and a half straight (Yes I did do this shut up)

2. I was sent here because my life's purpose exist here

3. I am needed to save this world.

4. I am needed for nothing and just am here to exist or was pulled into a loop.

I just hope I only apply to 3 outta my 4 I's because I do not want to save a whole world full of people that could harm me and people I don't even know on a personal level.

There is nothing I can do and I can't pout and doze over this any longer.

I need to get my mental in check because this a lot to handle especially for my anxiety since I am a bit unstable and haven't matured fully yet I need to be careful.

I can only look to the future to hope for at least one answer and I need to learn as much as possible while I have the time.

It is an even more dangerous world due to less sanitary areas, magic and petty conflict, and most likely beasts that exist to bring chaos.

The top priority of plans to keep in mind is to learn combat and magic to an extent to protect myself and others as well as study the world and what to look out for and procure more fluency in my language.

This isn't going to be easy but might as well have fun and live my best life out here to the length of living my dreams!

~3 Years later...Perseus 3.5 years old...

Perseus is now almost now 4 years old and learn a whole bit of knowledge regarding where he lives and more dangers.

He has been enjoying life most importantly and having fun than being shy and staying in his shell.

Having made a new friend next door, the little boy he has met was a little timid and shy.

Dark, messy hair with pale skin, he was named Ash.

Given the name, the boy had dark ashy hair with light brown eyes to compliment his look.

On the other hand, Percy had bluish green eyes with jet black hair and brown skin which deemed he got the tone from his father.

It was a nice, cool sunny day of Spring with the morning passing into the afternoon.

Birds chirping, smell of still damp grass and sweet flowers brightening your mood, and sound of conversations and laughter between the adults filled the wind while older children ran around playing.

Sitting under a thick, towering tree on a hill off the stone paveway to the village, sat Percy and Ash reading a book.

The huge book that is about the size of their torsos was on magic and Elfenheim.

The two youngsters were geeks on magic and both developed a love for it along with physical combat.

It got their bloods boiling and in a craze like it was meant for them and what they were seeing was what they wanted to achieve.

Seeing Percy's dad slam boulders into pieces with ease only using his bare knuckles and his daily routine of practicing and honing his movements was their entertainment and they would play around and try to mimic to a little extent but with no prevail.

Neither the less, it didn't down them at all and kept trying and trying....

3.5 years later~

"UGHAugh!" "PERCY!!! Get up man it is your birthday!!!" Barging into the room like it is his room, Ash jumps onto Percy shaking him with hyper, glowing, brown eyes like they were yellow stars.

"CAN YOU NOT JUMP ONTO A PERSON LIKE THAT" I said throwing my pillow at 'em.

"Don't be such a sour sprout man it is a big day today hehehe" Ash said grinning

'This kid did not just call me a sour sprout this early in the morning' I thought with a poker face.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah I'm up! I'm up!" scratching my head yawning.

"What do you wanna do today!" Ash beamed.

"Well we could try to sneak some magic books today or just go walking." "So just take it easy is what you are saying, right?"

"Yes, take it easy. You know how lazy I am." "Eh, ok."

I walked up to my closet to put on a black shirt and some brown shorts talking to myself in my head.

'Haaa...It has been 7 years since I've been here, how old would I be now back there...23?'

It has been 7 whole years being in Kuma Village and here in Elfenheim.

A world of magic in the Kingdom Era I would put it but magic technology I would say would make it passed a kingdom era.

What am I saying magic would make it passed miles of Kingdom times.

Here in this world, there exists different races than humans. Them being Elves, Dwarves, Beast Kin, Nature Spirits, and the kinda scary Daemons or Demons I would put it.

Also, it is common knowledge that this world is freaking huge in all aspects. I mean hell no one knows the percentage of land we have explored and how long Elfenheim has existed.

Magical Creatures exist that are like on steroids with their damn sizes!

There is monsters that are like titans with their height reaching past mountains but no one has seen them in years though.

Each monster have levels that categorize themselves.

People named them:

F-D Class: Stuff like Goblins , regular wolves, and other little creatures that are easy for F and D class adventurers to kill.

C class: This is where it starts to get dangerous really. Bears, Dire wolves, Steel Web Spiders, Black Tigers, etc start to appear. Their sizes reach tough levels like bears reach 11 feet on their hind legs, Dire wolves twice the size of a regular wolf, and spiders the size of bulls that shoot steel-like web. Mainly a party would be strictly recommended for a lots of these creatures.

B class: Danger just spells this category all over. Orcs, Elemental wolves, Shadow Guars, Adamantium Armadilos, Undead, etc. There is many. They are to be taken with strict caution since their strength isn't to be taken lightly and they'll have unique traits.

A Class: The book labeled these as extreme danger and ask for at least 1-2 middle to high ranking A class Adventurers in the group with at least a High rank C-rank saintess and the rest have to be experienced B rankers. But are rare to find in the wild. Well only can see how rare since that is vague.

Now we are getting into the big money....

S Class: Labeled Nation-wide emergencies and said to be cataclysmic or living disasters in the past. Which these bad boys...or girls if they are....require huge parties of Mid-High A rankers and S class rankers. The mortality rate is freaking huge by a whopping 80% death rate when it came to these apex predators. No one exactly knows where they come from which is weird or how they are born so they are dangerous mysteries....maaan the chills you just get from reading that. The only S class monsters fought and killed were the dragon named Tyrant who was said to block the sun with his huge ass figure. And the other was a demonic S class adventurer who was the peak human of the time but died a death who others regard as shameful and pitiful since his heart was taking over by a 'heavy' demonic spirit. The rest of the S class Monsters are rendered as neutral since they have intelligence and haven't attacked anyone who didn't attack them.

It seems fishy for there only being 2 S class Beast deaths and not more...maybe I'm underestimating for how powerful they were....heh

But it begs to question to how a S class Adventurer named the Sword Saint Rizel and someone who was called the peak human of his time died to something as lousy as a demonic spirit...

Ahh conspiracy you gotta love it(not really)

Besides that, there is also magic circles, type of levels part of the Magicka system mages named it.

After the user has formed their magic organ or 'heart', they'll start their journey at the 1st circle.

Or so it says...

Being able to perform magic, a person needed a certain thing that is obvious which was... talent.

Talent, talent, talent...tch..a concept and ability that can bring upon a person's fortune from the lottery but also send them straight to failure without even trying...

I finished that summary in my head and finished get ready following Ash out the door to the kitchen for breakfast.

Following down half way, it dawned upon me and had me worried...

'Do me and Ash have talent for magic?'

'We will we actually...achieve our dreams...'

I had a worried grim look on my face and Ash stopped and saw.

"Hey dude you alright?"

It woke me up, "Oh- haha yeah I'm alright. Just had a stuck thought."

Ash seemed suspicious but he let it off pulling me to the kitchen, "Come on then your mom is making eggs and pancakes hehehe!"

'Tsk him and his pancakes heh'

With the thought still plaguing my head, I readied a steel determination to a single sentence:

'No matter, if we are talentless or not, I will bring me and Ash up to the top to fulfill both our dreams to become the best mages this world has ever seen'

Whatever success I get my best friend will experience too.

I guess today will be the start of our journey heh.
