Chương 31: Game on!

They reached the ground floor as her brother's class was located there. Every final years had their classrooms on ground floor, then comes the third years on first floor and second years on second floor. For the first years, they have a new building as to avoid bullying .

Elsa reached her brother's classroom but didn't find him.She saw one of his friends leaving the class, she stopped him and asked," Hey.. Have you seen Alan anywhere? "

The friend smiled at her recognising her and asked to wait while he checked with other's. After two minutes, he came back and said," He went to meet their staff advisor and will be back soon. "

Elsa rolled her eyes,' Typical him' and sighed, "Okay.Thanks!" and walked towards Ray who has been leaning on a wall with his leg against it.

Ray looked at her and asked," What happened?"

"You will have to wait for sometime. My brother has gone to meet his teacher for something."

Ray nodded and said," You know, you could just call him and ask when he will be free. "

Elsa looked at him in shock and said, "No..No...No.... " and shook her head continuously.

"He doesn't have a clue about what I'm going to say and I don't want him to ask why I'm waiting. Lets just give him a small surprise." Elsa pleaded with both her hands folded in front of her looking at him with her puppy eyes.

Ray laughed and rubbed her head," Okay.. okay.. calm down.. Why are you nervous?"

Elsa rolled her eyes and asked," Tell me why you are not nervous? You know that you are basically meeting my family and you are just.... "

Ray was amused at her reaction and that she couldn't find words to complete ," I'm just, what?"

"You are just being you." Elsa groaned and placed her forehead against the wall.

Ray chuckled and said," Well... Didn't someone tell me to be on my best behaviour? I'm just following that. "

Elsa looked at him as if he had an extra horn and tail... Nope.. make it two horns," Yes I did.. but no one is that calm when meeting one's family. "

Ray shook his head and said," And that's why you are not meeting mine anytime soon. " and winked at her.

Elsa chuckled ," Well should I thank you for your consideration or be pissed at you? "

Before Ray could answer that question, she heard someone calling her name and turned to see her brother walking towards her.

Elsa gripped Ray's hand tightly while looking at him nervously. Ray squeezed her hand slightly to calm her down and looked at her brother who was now standing in front of them.

To be honest, he was shocked that the guy in front of him was her brother. On hearing from her, Ray thought he would be the typical introvert nerd who uses his time only for studying. But what he saw was, a guy with a fit body, handsome, average height with a dazzling smile. He would be what others call a,' HOT NERD.'

Alan looked at both of them puzzedly and asked, "Why were you looking for me?"

Before Ray could say something, he saw Elsa dragging her brother away from him while indicating she need two minutes with him alone. Ray nodded and smiled at her.

Elsa dragged her brother away from Ray and said,"Well, you see that guy over there. "

Alan looked at Ray for sometime and nodded.

" Well.. I like him .... and we are dating now. " Elsa said softly.

Alan , who was observing Ray suddenly turned to look at his sister to only see her face red. He knew what she meant by saying as there was always a promise between both of them.

He remembered his little sister tell him once that , "If you like a girl, introduce her to me and if I like her, she is passed else a big NO. It's the same for me also, if I get a boyfriend, I will introduce him to you first. Deal? "

He chuckled when he remembered how her sister held her pinkie finger out and insisted on him doing the same. He knew about her ex and how they broke up. He wanted to kick his ass for hurting his sister --'The nerve of that bastard'

Alan knew that his sister is a big romantic who loves romance. So, he figured she will bounce back soon but it did surprise him that she took another two years to find a guy whom she loves.

He was sure she was head over heels for him from her face and nervousnes. He remembered her being not nervous when she introduced her ex to him.She casually introduced her ex like a friend but now, with all the nervousness he thought,' So she is really in love.'

Alan said," Okay.. I get it.. Lets meet him then" and messed her hair a little.

" Heeyyy! " Elsa pouted at him for messing her hair while Alan chuckled. Both of them started walking towards Ray.

As the bro-sis duo took some time to chat, Ray was thinking how he will let her meet his family. He was sure that his mother will be against it and his sister would most probably tease him. He didn't even want to think about his relatives.' This is going to be a headache.'

He looked up to find them coming towards him. He looked at Elsa first, to see her pouting cutely. She was glaring at her brother while her hands where tidying the messy parts of her hair. Ray smiled looking at them but his smile froze when he noticed Alan staring at him fiercely.

'Oh Boy! I guess this will take some time. ' Ray gulped and prepared himself for the worst . Elsa hurriedly introduced him to Alan," So this is my boyfriend, Ray. We have been dating for past three weeks."

"Ray, this is my brother, Alan. " Both nodded at each other. Ray smiled weakly at Alan who was busy sizing him up. He liked what he saw and wanted to say 'Good choice.' when he noticed how Ray's smile was strained.

Elsa was surprised at the weird atmosphere around them. She didn't know how to reduce the tension and she knew her brother was sizing Ray up. She pinched her brother's hand to stop what he is doing.

Suddenly Alan smiled at him and said," So you were the one whom she was talking to at night. "

Both were shocked at this revelation that both of them looked at each other and turned to Alan . Alan laughed at their expressions and said," What? Did you think that you were very good at hiding this?"

"B..B..But you didn't ask anything " Elsa stammered.

"Because I knew you would tell me when you are ready. " Alan smiled at his sister before looking at Ray.

" I don't know you but I will trust my little sister's choice. Just don't break her heart. " Alan warned him.

Ray got out of his shock as he heard him speak. He smiled warmly at Elsa before saying," Never.. her heart is safe with me.Always!"

Elsa smiled widely before hugging her brother happily.

"So when do you plan on telling Mom?"

Elsa thought for sometime before she said ," Maybe after one month." She looked at Ray questioningly and he agreed with her decision.

"Okay.. So off you go.. I have some work. Bye guys." Alan left them and walked towards his classroom. As he was about to enter, he turned to look at Ray once-more and noticed him looking.

Alan was happy with the guy Elsa found as the guy looked sincere , trustworthy and mature. That was the type his out-of-control sister needed now. He noticed Ray looking at him, nodded his head and waved at him.

Ray nodded back with a smile on his face.

'One down .. Two to go....' He chuckled.

Elsa was happily skipping, along the path leading to the ground, while pulling Ray along her side. He just allowed her to pull him as he was happy that she was happy. Elsa soon stopped with a Oh my God expression on her face.

As Ray was about to ask her, he saw her smirking and it send shivers on him.

" Hey, what's wron - - - - "

Before he could ask her, he saw their friend coming over and asking him to come for a drink. Ray turned to her who shrugged and said," We do deserve a drink. " and both of them laughed while their friend looked at them confusedly.

When everyone reached the shop, Elsa was surprised to find the rest of the group along with Adina waiting for them . Elsa went to sit by Adina and told her excitedly about her brother while Ray went to order for everyone.

When everyone was seated, the onlookers could hear the laughter and teasing going on within the group. But there was one among them who was silently thinking.

Elsa was thinking while looking at Ray,' One more week left for one month...Lets test whether he could hold it in.Game on! ' and smiled mischieviously when she met his eyes.
