Chapter 162: The Fearsome Jailer Beasts
In all of the chaos, Vivi realized that one more inmate was missing on this floor. A prisoner that no one else would miss because they didn't know he was supposed to be there.
'Wait a minute…where is Jimbei?' She asked herself.
She cached up to Inazuma who was running at the front.
"Excuse me, Inazuma. Do you remember seeing a Fishman called Jimbei being held as a prisoner here?."
She gave Vivi a confused expression.
"Jimbei the Shichibukai?. Why would he be in Impel Down?."
"Well…because…" Vivi's eyes opened like plates.
'Wait…why was Jimbei imprisoned in the first place?.'
The information came to the front of her mind the moment she asked for it.
The reason for Jimbei's imprisonment was that he became the only Shichibukai who refused the Marines' call when Ace was captured and Whitebeard declared war against them.
'Right…Jimbei did not want to fight against Whitebeard so he refused and lost his status as Shichibukai' She recalled.
But that didn't happen this time. Whitebeard died six months back of natural causes and Ace was captured two years later, preventing him from disobeying direct orders by the Marines Headquarters.
'Does this mean that he is still a Shichibukai?...Ugg… my knowledge about future events is becoming useless as things are so different now. I should stop making assumptions based on that knowledge from now on.'
"Miss Vivi, is everything alright?" Asked Inazuma with worry at seeing her change of expression.
She tried her best to smile.
"Everything is okay. I just remembered something wrong, don't worry about it. Let's focus on saving Ace."
"Stop right there!" A female voice shouted.
They were almost at the end of the long hallway and could see the light but a big group of people were blocking the only exit.
On the front were a huge group of marines pointing their rifles at them. Behind them were four giant beasts and in the middle was a beautiful woman holding a trident and wearing some pink tight leather suit that hug her figure lik-
"Hold on!" Vivi rushed to cover Sanji's eyes.
"Is that lady wearing pink leather? let me take a closer look." Sanji approached the front of the group.
She got to his side and forced his eyes close. "Keep them close Saji!. Don't open them no matter what!" Shouted Vivi with urgency.
"I-Is it that bad?..." Sanji said with fear in his voice.
A streak of blood escaped Vivi's nose.
"Is really bad!. You will certainly die if you are into underboobs!"
"I love underboobs!" Shouted Sanji with despair.
"Enough already you two!" Nami's face was getting red from secondhand embarrassment.
Sadie examined her outfit. "What?...is it too much? those are my normal weekend clothes."
The marines looked away with blushed faces.
"Anyways…" Sadie rose her hand and pointed at Luffy and the rest.
"Shoot them!"
"Wait!, I'm still here!" Complained Saldeath who was now being held by Buggy.
"Stop moving!, will be fine!" The clown had positioned himself behind the giant Morley for cover.
Luffy rushed forward and when the marines started shooting he turned into a giant balloon and repealed all the bullets back to them.
"Why do they even bother with shooting normal bullets at this point? It has never worked before." Vivi pointed out.
"Fine!" Shouted Sadie. "Prepare yourself to face my fearsome Jailer Beasts!"
"Oh no…those monsters are the most feared in all Impel Down, just after the Magellan." Said Buggy.
Sadie laughed.
"You are doomed. Each one of them is more terrifying than the previous one…Minorhinocero, Minozebra, Minokoala, and finally…Minochihuahua!
"Did she say that there is a chihuahua?" Asked Sanji who could not see.
"He is the most terrifying of them all?" Asked Nami.
"I feel like the order is wrong…" Added Chopper.
"Look!" Vivi pointed forward. "The Chihuahua is standing on a little platform to be at the same height as the rest!" She started to laugh.
Sadie clenched her fist. "Don't mock us!. Go, Jailer Beasts! turn them into-"
"Gomu Gomu no!...Double Jet bazooka!" Both of his arms extended while covered in haki and slammed against the faces of the Rhino and the Zebra knowing back.
The Koala lifted his iron knuckles and…Vivi appeared in front of him, her right arm had grown in size and was turned into a mass of crystalline ice.
"You guys could have been a great challenge…two years ago."
She punched the Koala so hard that his pants came off as he flew off.
Vivi's threatening gaze turned to the last member of the Jailer Beasts.
"Don't force my hand…I'll hurt you."
The Minochihuahua got down from the podium and started to run in the opposite direction.
"Good boy," Vivi said.
"Come back, you coward!" Sadie shouted at the running dog.
"You should not turn your back on your enemies." The voice of Nami came from behind her.
As Sadie moved her head to look at Nami she was met with a metal rod to the face.
"Ugg!" Sadie staggered back and before she could recover, Nami was on her again attacking incessantly, not letting Sadie gain some distance to use her whip.
"Bong!" Another hit to the head left Sadie dizzy and gave Nami enough time for the finishing move.
"Thunderlance Tempo!" Her weapon became charged with electritycy with she unleashed on the other woman.
Sadie fell down on the floor with her body covered in burns.
"Yesh…Nami. That was brutal." Commented Vivi with a smile.
"Well…a bit… I guess." Nami looked away.
Vivi got closer.
"You didn't get jealous, right?" She teased.
Nami blushed. "Of course not! Why would I be jealous of that…that…"
"Sadistic tramp?...."
"Yes, that!" Agreed Nami.
"Well, you shouldn't. I was only half joking before." Vivi held Nami's chin up and looked into her eyes.
"That woman can't hold a candle to your beauty, Nami." Vivi then got closer and gave her a kiss on the cheek. Leaving Nami completely red in embarrassment but also a bit happier.
"Can I look now?... I think I'm missing something important!" Shouted Sanji.
