Chapter 117: Fake Kuma
"I am a wanted man myself, you know? It would be better to take your ship somewhere else to work on it." Rayleigh started to tear little pieces of the sheet of paper.
"Are you going to give us vivre cards?" Asked Vivi.
"Oh, you know about them. That makes things easier. I am going to need three days to finish the ship coating."
"Ehh? that long?" Asked Luffy with a disappointed expression.
"Your lives are going to depend on the quality of my work. Three days is the fastest I can manage." Rayleigh pointed out.
"So, we need to survive for three days, yohoho, how scary," said Brook.

After gathering his supplies for the coating work, Rayleigh meets them at the door of the bar.
Hacchi and Camie had recovered enough to say their goodbyes.
"We will meet three days from now in the evening. I don't know which grove, so you will have to follow the vivre card. I suggest that you use this time to lay low and gather whatever items you feel will be necessary for the underwater voyage."
"Luffy, everyone, thank you for everything!" Said Camie.
"I'm sorry you guys got into trouble because of us. I don't know how to thank you all. Well show you the way to Fishman island, just make sure to avoid the marines for three days." Said Hacchi.
"Well see you then" Shakkis waved at them.
"Well everyone" Luffy addressed the crew. " We are against an Admiral this time. Make sure that you don't die!."
"Are you trying to jinx us or something?!". Yelled Usopp.
"Three days…" Franky seemed to be thinking about something.
"I think I'll just play dead," said Brook.
They walked away from the bar and continued for a few minutes before someone spoke again.
" Who would have thought that we would end up running into someone from Gold Rogers crew?." Commented Franky.
"He had quite the presence, right?" Said Usopp.
"He did!" Chopper agreed.
"Hey, does anyone want to go hide in the amusement park?" Asked their Captain.
"That's not laying low!." Said Vivi.
"I would like to, actually!" Both Brook and Chopper said together.
"Look, we can't hide in an amusement park." Sanji tried to reason with their Captain.
"You just want to have fun!" Said Usopp.
"Why don't we go to the shopping center instead?" Suggested Nami.
"That's not laying low either!" Exclaimed Vivi.
"Didn't you say that you wanted to buy a pair of boots?" Asked Robin.
"Yes, but I don't think that this is the time for…okay maybe just a quick shopping trip." Said Vivi.
"They convinced you way too quickly!" Said Usopp.
Luffy suddenly stopped. "Huh?"
"What is it, Luf-" Zoro stopped in his tracks when he saw the person who was now in their way.
"That's!... that's!" mumbled Usopp with fear on his face.
"That's the Shichibukai we encounter at Moria's island!" Said Sanji.
Some distance away, the giant figure of Kuma was staring down at them with cold eyes.
"Luffy, stay away from him! that guy is dangerous! He is a shichibukai, like Moria" Usopp warned.
"Huh? he is a shichibukai? How come you all know him?" Asked Luffy.
Kuma removed his gloves and aimed his right hand at Luffy.
"Don't let him hit you with that attack!, is a shockwave" Warned Sanji.
Kuma's hand started to shine brightly with golden light when it was hit by a barrage of water bullets that forced them to change its aim.
A laser beam came out of the palm and passes right by Luffy, impacting the ground behind them and causing a big explosion.
"What was that?!" Exclaimed Nami.
"He couldn't do that before, right?" Said Usopp.
"Oi!, that wasn't a shockwave! that was a freaking beam!" Shouted Luffy.
"Bartholomew Kuma…not him again" Said Robin.
"You guys… that's not Kuma!." Shouted Vivi.
"What do you mean?, that is totally the same guy we saw at Thriller Bark." Said Zoro.
"You should be able to feel it too. That thing has no aura whatsoever. I don't think is even a living being." Said Vivi.
"Didn't he already have some metal parts when you fought him?" Asked Franky.
"He did, but I am sure that he was a living human. I could feel his aura like anyone else. But from this thing…I feel nothing at all." Said Vivi.
"She is right…my skills are not as developed as hers, but I can't feel anything either." Said Nami.
"Maybe he turned himself completely into a robot!" Said Franky.
"I don't think it matters what he is right now, he is obviously here to fight us." Said Sanji.
"Sanji is right. We need to fight this thing, whatever it is!" Franky aimed his hands at 'Kuma'. "Coup de…Vent!"
An air cannon came out of his hand and impacted their opponent, sending it flying backward until it hit a tree.
"Gear second! Im not sure who this guy is, but he seems like a dangerous oponent, so I won't hold back!" Said Luffy.
"Let's fight him all together!." Suggested Sanji.
"Let's do this!" Zoro too out his three swords.
'Kuma' opened its mouth and shoot an even stronger laser beam from it that they barely managed to dodge.
"He can shoot from his mouth too?!. What a monster!" Exclaimed Usopp.
"Go!" Shouted Luffy before rushing forward. "Gomu Gomu no…jet pistol!" His smoking fist impacted its face, making him lose its balance slightly.
Vivi, Zoro, and Sanji ran forward.
Sanji became invisible.
"Target lost" 'Kuma spoke and looked around.'
"You don't have time to get distracted!. Santoryuu… 36-pound cannon!"
"Vivi turned nearly half her mass into a water bomb and sent her at 'Kuma's' face. "Water bomb!"
The bomb exploded, removing a big patch of artificial skin and revealing its mechanical face.
"His face came of!" Shouted Usopp.
"It really is a robot!. Amazing!... I wonder who made it." Commented Franky with a hint of admiration in his voice.
"Diable jamble…" Sanji reappeared right behind 'Kuma.' "Mutton shot!". Sanji's fiery leg impacted the back of its head, making it lose its balance and fall forward, right into Luffys follow-up attack.
"Gomu gomu no….jet bazooka!" Luffy punched the robot in its stomach with both arms. It made a strong clanking noise as it fell back.
"Yes!...did they get him?" Wondered Nami.
