The silver-haired woman followed Arthur and Lucy, paying close attention to them as they started climbing the illusory stairs. They intentionally advanced with a slow yet steady pace. As one would expect, the higher the one climbs, the harder it is to continue.

Some kind of formless pressure would press their bodies on the ground, rendering them unable to continue any further. Arthur saw a dozen or so cultivators fail and teleported all the way to the base of the stairs, way below.

Unlike what Lucy's sister expected, Arthur was able to reach the end of the stairs albeit with a bit of difficulty. As for his sister, she seemed completely fine as she helped her brother when he started struggling at the end.

The ghost and Jace had no problems as such thing wasn't a challenge to them, same thing for the annoying woman, who gazing at Arthur from the back.
