Dragon queen gaze swept the battlefield, lingering on Kael.
For the briefest moment, her expression softened.
"Sister," Zarenth whispered, blood trailing from his lips as he lay battered on the ground. "She's here…"
The figure known as "Father" narrowed his eyes, his smirk faltering for the first time.
"You…" he hissed, his voice laced with venom.
Sephina took a step forward, her aura suffocating in its intensity.
Her mere presence felt as though the heavens themselves had descended to the mortal realm.
She looked down at Kael, her son, broken but alive.
And then she spoke.
"You dare to lay a hand on my ch—"
Sephina's said but she stopped mid-sentence.
Her golden eyes scanned the battlefield and landed on Zarenth, her brother, broken and bloodied on the ground.
"…my brother," she finished, her voice trembling with restrained fury.
