Her footsteps were light, but even so, the sound of high heels tapping against the ground echoed throughout the room, as if pounding beside the ear.
Hannah was silent, raising her hand.
Jenny instinctively jerked her neck back.
Hannah only chuckled softly, playing with the toothbrush Jenny had tossed back into the cup. "Just got the wrong one?"
Jenny couldn't help stepping back, leaning against the cold tile behind her.
Feeling the chill seeping in from her fingertips, she couldn't help but shake her voice, but she still projected an air of pretense. "There are so many people's belongings here, is it strange to make a mistake? This trash, I hate touching your stuff because it disgusts me!"
Hannah didn't respond, her gaze shifting from Jenny's face to her hand. With a light toss, she precisely throws the toothbrush into the trash bin behind Jenny.
"Things touched by you also disgust me." She smiled faintly, her voice soft yet frosty.
