Actually, standard DNA tests may not be accurate enough but now, it is possible to find out which twin is the father. Identical twins do not exactly have the same DNA once they grow up - that is why you can have one twin who is taller, etc. The 'old' tests were just not comprehensive enough to find the minute details.

As for the Dante twins, their differences are so minute it cannot really be seen either. So they really do look like carbon copies of each other.
