For instance, if someone of had the same power level to mine sensed my attempt to teleport them, they could detect or even resist it, despite not having any teleportation abilities themselves.

However, since Harvey and his crew were clearly outmatched in every other aspect, my teleportation worked on them as easily as it would on regular humans. 

"Who are you?" Harvey stammered, his voice quivering a little. 

'Wait, what persona should I adopt?' I pondered silently. 

This decision was an important turning point in my life.
