Ivo was silent for a long time, staring down at Letícia's head of ringlets. Was this what went on in her mind: murder?
"Why do you want to kill her?" he asked, keeping his tone even. Was it possible Letícia knew something about not-Sara, and perhaps that was why she wanted her dead?
"I hate her," she said, looking up at Ivo with wide guileless eyes.
"Yes...but is that all? Do you want to kill everyone you hate?"
She frowned. "Of course. But I can't." She gave him a look like she suspected him of not being as smart as she'd originally thought. "But Sara lives here, and she spends her whole day at home doing nothing. I can kill her. Or you can, because I'm small, and young, I could mess it up."
It was almost remarkable how she rationalised the whole thing. Ivo let out a disbelieving chuckle.
"What do you think killing her will accomplish? Your father won't get back to your dad. It was your dad who asked for the divorce."
Ivo: I think i'd be a great dad, it's easy
Davi: i think you're confusing parenting with manipulation
