Gaming Taming
Well, this isn't going as well as I'd hoped. But really, what did I expect? I'm basically fighting them at their own game. It's like going up against a chess grandmaster when I barely know how to move the pieces. Feels like I'm wrestling a bear bare-handed, and spoiler: I'm not exactly a warrior.
This was a huge mistake.
But I can't quit. Not yet.
I *should* quit, though. There's really no point in continuing this torture.
Sharp Eyes destroyed me last round with a score of 30-4, and you can probably guess who had the 4. Yep, that's right. That was me. Now Nerdy is snickering as she stands up from her seat. "Not even close," she sneers.
So this is how we're doing things. The deal is simple: if I can beat one of the YOLO squad members, I take their spot in the game—and get to stick around with Carrie. Great deal, right? Well, not so great when winning feels like a distant dream.
