In the Fleet Admiral's office residing inside the branch office building of the Port of Dawn, Abraham sat on his comfy chair while rubbing his forehead with an indescribable expression. 

Before him was none other than the dragoness who was still looking at him with twinkling eyes brimming with hopes and dreams.

Obviously, he was confused as to why Laplace acted in such a way and wanted to know why she even wanted to be employed by him.

It was a confusing situation, to say the least. Especially when she was emanating expectations that he didn't want to accidentally disappoint.

After a short while of thinking and Laplace staring at him with the same twinkling eyes, Abraham finally spoke with utter calm and questioned the dragoness.

"Why do you want to be employed, Laplace?" It hasn't been that long yet since she arrived in the Port of Dawn and she already wanted a job.
