"Uzumaki Naruto!"
Naruto finally said his name. Kakashi's eyes widened in shock. Even Obito, usually slower to react, grew serious. As disciples of Namikaze Minato, they were familiar with Uzumaki Kushina and knew she was a member of the Uzumaki clan. Kushina's greatest hope had always been to reunite with lost members of her clan, even if it meant bringing them to Konoha.
"Uzumaki?" Kakashi repeated, his voice laced with surprise. The boy standing before them, though, had golden hair and blue eyes—traits that screamed of Minato.
Naruto blinked, taking in the faces of the young Kakashi and the others. "Are you Konoha ninjas too? What are your names?" he asked, trying to stay composed despite the shock of seeing his sensei's younger self.
"Uchiha Obito."
"Nohara Rin."
"Hatake Kakashi."
"And this is Reiki," Obito added.
Naruto's jaw dropped, eyes going wide as the realization hit him. "You..."
"Alright, there's no time for this," Reiki interrupted. "Queen Sara, we need to leave now. My clones are holding the guards and puppets back, but we don't have much time."
Sara looked at the group, trying to make sense of the chaotic situation. "You're all very strange, but I believe you're not here to harm me," she said, resolving to trust them. "Follow me—I'll take you to An Lushanzan."
They ran, Naruto's mind spinning as he confirmed what he already suspected. He had time-traveled to when his father's students were just teens, and even Reiki, who he knew from stories, was here. The thought made him strangely excited.
Before they could get too far, a Rouran guard intercepted them. "Your Majesty, intruders have breached the city. Please return to the palace for your safety."
Naruto's eyes narrowed. He sensed that something was off. These guards weren't who they appeared to be.
Sara responded sharply, "Do you dare question my choices? These are my maids!" She gestured to the disguised ninjas, confirming her trust in them.
The guard bowed, stepping aside, but not before casting a suspicious look at the group. Once inside the palace, Sara turned to them, her eyes on Reiki. "Who are you really, and why are you here?"
Reiki met her gaze calmly. "Naruto, tell her who An Lushanzan really is."
Naruto nodded. "His real name is Centipede, a puppet master from Sunagakure. He came here to harness the power of the dragon vein."
Sara gasped, clutching her chest. "The dragon vein… So it's true?"
"Don't worry," Naruto said, grinning. "Teacher Reiki and the others are strong. And even though Kakashi-sensei hasn't awakened his Sharingan yet, he's already amazing."
"Sharingan?" Obito's eyes darted to Kakashi, incredulous. "When did you become part of the Uchiha clan?"
Reiki smirked, trying not to laugh at the mix of confusion and wonder. Kakashi, however, glared at Naruto, wishing he could silence him.
Sara shook her head, trying to process it all. "Why do you call them teachers? You seem older."
Naruto scratched the back of his head sheepishly. "Ah, it's complicated. But trust me, they're powerful."
"Enough chatter," Reiki cut in. "Your Majesty, whether you believe us or not, our mission is to protect you. Konoha's Jounin are also moving to deal with An Lushanzan. You'll be safe."
Sara's eyes hardened. "You're after the dragon vein too, aren't you?" she said, a mixture of accusation and fear in her voice.
"No!" Naruto protested at the same time Reiki said, "Yes."
The team looked at Reiki, confused. Sara's eyes were wide with shock.
"Do you have the key, Your Majesty?" Reiki asked, his voice steady. The question seemed to shake Sara to her core.
