Chương 1: Prologue - Death..?

It was a beautiful day outside, the birds are singing, the flowers are blooming...

No, scratch that, it was a really shitty day, there was a storm and I had to stay home, couldn't even go outside.

Heh, not like I ever do, unless it's for groceries or something.

"Man, this anime is ass. Who thought taking away Izuku's quirk was a good idea?" said a black haired female youth with brown eyes, who was laying in their bed.

Yup, this same ordinary-looking loser, is me.

I was wasting away like I usually do each Saturday, watching random stuff or playing mobile games that i found fun.

I was barely 17, and I still needed to get my shit sorted out, y'know, figure out what i'm going to do in the future with my life.

And then, i heard the voice that i dreaded most.

"Marieee~! Would you be so sweet as to get to the grocery store and get me a few things that i really need for dinner?" She happily shouted from the kitchen.

"But moooom, it's raining heavily outside." Please, don't make me!

"Just use the umbrella, unless you don't want to eat." She then threatened me, prick.

"Uggghhhh, fine." I grumbled.

Then, i got up and put on my rain coat, I grabbed the money and list that she left for the groceries and the umbrella, then headed towards the door, opened it and went out.

The sound of the rain was strangely calming, along with the somewhat cold atmosphere. There was a few people here and there, but the streets were mostly empty.

Did i mention that i get distracted easily? Ooh boy.

As i was crossing the street, I didn't even hear the garbage truck honking at me and the driver shouting at me because I was so focused on the sound of the rain and the cold feeling on my skin.

It almost felt like time had stopped, when I turned my head around, it was just a few inches away from impacting my body. And only one thought crossed my mind.

'Shit.'

CRAAAAAAAASSSSSSHHHHHHHH!!!

Then, it had struck heavily. And I had suddenly been knocked away quite a few meters, being airborne for some seconds. I couldn't even process what just happened, until I looked down on the ground where I was laying.

I was limping as i dragged my palm on the ground, which was getting tainted by blood by the second, covering it with a red liquid, and I inquired to myself.

'Is this... my blood?'

'I feel cold and warm at the same time... This smell is metallic. I can't see properly.'

'Am I gonna die..?'

And then, the pain kicked in.

I began twitching, clutching my abdomen in my agony, as I began to panic.

'Owowowowow fuck fuck fuck fuck... this hurts, it fucking hurts so badly!'

'I don't wanna die yet, no..!'

'FUUUCK!!'

The sirens were loud. I kept hearing people shout and scream, but I couldn't care less, the pain was overpowering me and I was already going blind, my mind was messed up and my head was spinning.

'Everything's fading away... I feel like shit, and it hurts. So bad. What would mom and dad think? It hurts...' Then, I slowly closed my eyes, and finally, everything faded to black. There was nothing.

I couldn't hear. I couldn't see. I couldn't physically feel anything. I couldn't smell anything. I couldn't even taste my own saliva.

It was pure darkness.
