Obito had to accept that he couldn't capture Sato. Sato's lightning cloak gave him immense durability and extreme speed.
Sato was a speedster who was really hard to damage. Obito hated fighting such people.
"Raikage.."
Obito growled helplessly and searched for a way to break the game. His eyes secretly turned towards Hidan and Anko; those two were still fighting.
'What?! That purple-haired Anko somehow survived Hidan's curse technique.'
'I thought she was dead when Hidan licked her blood and stabbed himself, but she shed her skin and survived his attack.'
'How absurd; she's another pervert like Orochimaru.'
Obito clicked his tongue. Everything would be fine if Hidan could kill Anko; they could still gang up on Sato after that.
But Anko was a bad match for Hidan; Hidan does physical damage, and Anko was immune to physical injuries.

Obito's forehead throbbed. Sato was attacking his intangible body relentlessly, and his five minutes of intangibility were about to end. Sato's fists would hit him after five minutes was over.
"Raikage, let's have a truce."
Obito pretended to be calm and spoke in a deep voice.
For now, he wanted to stop this fight, so he decided to suggest a truce with Sato. Later, he will attack and catch Raikage off guard.
"Truce? I will make a truce with your dead body."
But Sato didn't take Obito's bait. Obito was a well-known idiot; his clumsy lies didn't deceive Sato.
"Five minutes are about to end Tobi. I will punch you in the face soon."
"As long as I touch you, it's game over. You don't have enough strength to survive my point-blank punch."
Sato's blurry voice echoed around Obito's ears. Which made Obito's eyes shrink; he did not want to die before he created a world with Rin.
Raikage was right; he cannot resist a punch from Raikage. Even if he revives using Izanagi, Raikage can just kill him again. Sato was too fast and knew Kamui's weakness too well.
Obito was in deep shit. He felt desperate, and his eyes were bloodshot.
"NO!"
"I will not die here. No one can stop the infinite tsukuyomi."
"Kamui!"
Obito roared, and his Mangekyo Sharingan spun. The next thing Sato felt was the space twist around Obito's body.
Sato hesitated; he felt his arms and legs twist too. Instead of using Kamui on his body, Obito was suddenly using it around his body.
Sato felt somber; he knew what was happening.
'This is what Madara did in the war arc; he used Obito's Kamui to twist the space around him.'
'Obito himself never used it before in the story. He must have figured it out just now as I was about to kill him.'
Sato hesitated again. If he left he wouldn't be able to trap Obito again.
But the pain from his twisted limbs reminded him that he needed to leave Obito's attack range quickly, or his life would be in danger.

Sato made a decision; he didn't waste time and flickered away from Obito's range.
"Hidan, let's go!"
This was the chance Obito was looking for. He deactivated Kamui and ran towards Hidan.
"Kamui."
Obito grabbed Hidan and quickly used Kamui again. Although this time, he wasn't becoming intangible but was hiding in the Kamui dimension.
"Raikage, you are strong."
Obito carefully looked at Sato while his body disappeared little by little.
"Our fight is a tie. You get to keep the two tails for now."
Obito disappeared completely after saying these words. Sato calmly watched him leave.
This time he couldn't hurt Obito, but Obito couldn't hurt him either. Next time, he will be prepared for Obito, and this situation won't happen again.
"I am sorry, Raikage Sama; I couldn't stop him."
Anko apologized to Sato; if she had been careful, she could have stopped Obito from taking Hidan away.
"It's not your fault; you were maintaining distance from Hidan. You didn't have time to run towards him and stop Obito."
Sato shook his head. Anko did great in this fight. If she didn't keep Hidan occupied, Sato would have to fight them both.

Anko smiled with happiness; she then rubbed her fist and asked.
"What next? Do we return to hidden sand village and question them? They tricked us with this fake mission."
Anko felt angry when thinking about Hidden Sand's fake mission.
"The mission isn't fake, Anko. Gaara is really kidnapped; Temari wouldn't lie to me. I think we are missing something."
"If Hidden Sand was working with the Akatsuki, they should have personally attacked us by now."
Sato frowned. At first he thought hidden sand was tricking him, but if that was true, they should have attacked him with Obito.
If they wanted him dead, they would make sure he was indeed dead. That's what ninjas do.
"Then what's going on? This mission is real, but it's also a trap. How does that work?"
Anko pulled her hair; she didn't understand anything. She felt confused.
Sato hummed; he thought for a bit and made it easier for Anko to understand.
"The mission to save Gaara is real. But there is someone in hidden sand who's working with Akatsuki."
"With this traitor's help, Akatsuki used the mission and set a trap for me."
Sato looked at the sky and explained what most likely happened.
"After Akatsuki kidnapped Gaara, they attacked the sand Daimyo, remember?"
"Next the Sand daimyo suddenly wanted me to do this mission; he even promised huge benefits."
"This is a problem; Akatsuki might have controlled the sand Daimyo. The traitor who helped Akatsuki is the Daimyo."
Sato had reached a possible conclusion. This theory explained why he felt the mission was weird, but Temari knew nothing about it.
Hidden sand wasn't working with Akatsuki, the sand Daimyo was working with them. He was the one who wanted Sato to do this mission.
He was the one who lured Sato out so Akatsuki can capture the two tails.
"Akatsuki controlled a daimyo! Are they crazy? What should we do, Raikage Sama?"
Anko gasped; she felt Akatsuki was too brave. They controlled a Daimyo directly; this was tricky to handle.
Sato also felt this was tricky; it was especially a problem because Sato was the kage of another village.
"I am the Raikage; I can't blame Sand Daimyo without proof."
"Our best bet is to save Gaara and tell him about this. He is the Kazekage; he can do something about it."
Only the Kazekage can deal with matters regarding sand daimyo; this was how it worked for each village. Daimyo only works with their kage.
Sato was now the Raikage; he needed to take the official route for a few things.
"Let's go."
"There's still a chance we can find the Akatsuki members who kidnapped Gaara."
"I can vent some of my anger on them."
Sato smiled gently, but his gentle smile promised pain to these Akatsuki members.
