Unbeknownst to Wu-Tang and his team, time continued to pass, and the Cloud Village found itself prepared to engage Konoha in battle. However, the conflict between the two villages was put on hold due to the realization that the Night Country could seize the opportunity to strike once both were weakened. Thus, the Cloud Village and Konoha found themselves indirectly entangled with the Night Country.
As losses continued to mount, Nakano and her special team were dispatched to aid in the fight. Their arrival injected new strength into the Night Country's forces, bolstering their resistance against the Cloud Village and Konoha.
This sudden reversal of fortune started to inflict heavy casualties on the Cloud Village and Konoha. While the situation for the Cloud Village remained relatively stable due to the presence of the Second Raikage, Konoha faced a precarious situation with only Wu-Tang and Danzo holding the line.
Both leaders understood the urgency of the situation. If they couldn't act swiftly before reinforcements arrived, the losses would be catastrophic. They knew that seizing this opportunity to strike back at the Night Country was crucial.
Fire Country. provided financial support and supplies to the Konoha, urging them to launch an attack against the Night Country. nation also provided resources and funding, redirecting the focus of the war toward the Night Country instead of Konoha.
As the conflict escalated and the number of enemies increased, the Night Country was forced to recall their forces from the Snow and Waterfall Countries. They even began borrowing ninjas from both nations to bolster their ranks.
Meanwhile, Taro himself made the decision to travel to the Land of Rocks, intending to confront their village and neutralize any potential threats before returning to deal with the Cloud and Hidden Leaf Villages.
Back at the Konoha camp, Wu-Tang received intelligence regarding the sheer number of ninjas the Night Country had deployed. Their forces had exceeded 2000, leaving everyone perplexed as to how they managed to amass such a sizable army. Both Wu-Tang and Danzo recognized the impending danger once the Night Country dealt with the Rock Village; they would undoubtedly turn their attention to Konoha.
With this knowledge in mind, Wu-Tang and Danzo made a decisive plan. They understood that striking a heavy blow against the Night Country before they were free from the Rock Village was essential. The Cloud Village eagerly joined forces in this operation, united in their goal to deliver a crippling blow to their shared enemy.
