Chapter 50: Continue To Sow Discord
Kakashi enrolls the three, including Sasuke, for the Chūnin exam. In Kakashi's view, Sasuke's strength makes the exam seem a bit like bullying. However, Kakashi is currently investigating the White Fang incident and has no time for the seventh class's tasks or practice. The Chūnin exam allows only three participants.
Sasuke has been observing Kakashi's recent state: anxiety, entanglement, hesitation, irritability. These emotions reveal that Kakashi probably hasn't found anything yet. Seeing this, Sasuke suppresses his growing agitation. He thinks to himself, "Not urgent! When Mr. Kakashi discovers the results, I will be close to uncovering the truth of the Uchiha genocide. For now, I'll work hard to improve my own strength."
Sasuke's irritability is partly because the truth of the Uchiha genocide is elusive. Additionally, his progress is stalling because he has encountered a bottleneck in his strength! His age and the amount of Chakra in his body limit him; his strength can't improve as quickly as before. This issue must be resolved.
"Sage Mode... The Konoha Sannin have signed contracts with the three sacred places—Mount Myōboku, Shikkotsu Forest, and Ryūchi Cave—and each holds legendary teachings of immortal techniques..." Sasuke muses while holding a book.
"The so-called Sage Mode refers to the combination of one's own Chakra with natural energy to create Sage Chakra... By mastering this, one can synthesize Sage Chakra using natural energy, effectively increasing one's Chakra quantity in disguise!"
But where does one find the Konoha Sannin or the Three Great Sacred Places? "Well," Sasuke sighs. It seems too difficult to dramatically improve his strength.
Orochimaru chuckles, "Heh, I'm really looking forward to seeing how things develop now!" The Sasuke from another world aiming for Sage Mode—perfection! His curse seal, based on the ability to harness natural energy, is essentially a simplified Sage Mode. Uchiha Fugaku exclaims in anger, "Orochimaru! You bloody fiend!"
Hatake Kakashi remarks, "Sasuke's situation in the other world is precarious; Orochimaru is a tough opponent."

Orochimaru smirks, "Hehe! Maybe I'll just take Sasuke away. With such a perfect body, who cares about the plan to destroy Konoha? Just capture Sasuke and reincarnate!"
Iruka questions, "Then what do we do? Can the Sasuke over there protect himself?"
The Fourth Raikage expresses doubt, "That Uchiha Sasuke is strong, but he's still no match for Orochimaru."
Terumi Mei speculates, "Give him a few more years, and he should be fine. His improvement has just slowed down."
Onoki laughs, "Heh, I think you're all overthinking it. The other Uchiha Sasuke has remarkable talent and strength, but what's even more frightening is the guy's calmness and rationality! A little monster like him, who has been sharp since childhood, won't fall easily."
Sasuke searched for information extensively again. However, there were very few records about fairy arts, and they were mainly related to the Three Holy Lands. In desperation, he had to temporarily give up that path.

During Kurenai's daily training sessions, Sasuke had an idea. "Do you want me to take Hinata away for special training for a few days? Uh huh, you're saying that, as a teacher, my training isn't as effective as yours?" YuhiKurenai heard Sasuke's request and pretended to be angry.
"How can that be! I was just worried that Teacher Kurenai is too fond of Hinata and might not train her hard enough, so I wanted to dedicate some time to train seriously with Hinata," Sasuke replied smoothly.
"Pfft! What you said makes sense. Hinata is so adorable, I really can't bear to be tough on her," YuhiKurenai remarked and gently pinched Hinata's cheek, clearly pleased with Sasuke's answer.
Suddenly, Kurenai sighed, "Oh, if only Asuma could speak half as well... no, even a tenth as well as you do."
That Asuma guy is still making excuses, claiming that he gives class assignments with good intentions and wants me to understand. He doesn't get his own feelings at all!
Sasuke rolled his eyes and interjected, "Mr. Asuma probably cares about Ms. Kurenai, right? I heard from Ino that Mr. Asuma has been troubled recently. He doesn't know how to explain his feelings to you, Ms. Kurenai."
Kurenai raised her eyebrows. "He's troubled now? Does he think I'm making trouble for no reason?"
Sasuke quickly waved his hands, looking very embarrassed. "No, no! Why would Mr. Asuma say that!"
However, upon seeing Sasuke's demeanor, Kurenai confirmed her suspicion: Sarutobi Asuma had spoken ill of her in front of the students!
Sasuke was amused seeing Kurenai Yuhi's expression darken. He thought that causing trouble was quite entertaining, especially when it involved someone from the Sarutobi clan. Whether Sarutobi Asuma actually said those things didn't matter – he couldn't explain himself anyway. Sasuke imagined that the relationship between Teacher Kurenai and Sarutobi Asuma would continue to deteriorate, and just the thought made him feel happy, relieving much of his frustration about the slow progress in improving his strength.
Sarutobi Asuma cursed, "Fucking bastard! I f**k beep beep beep beep beep-"
Yamanaka Ino remarked, "Sasuke over there is horrible..."
Nara Shikamaru noted, "And it's completely undetectable!"
Iruka mused, "It's a good thing I didn't offend Sasuke over there..."
