Chương 2: Chapter 2: Determined Sasuke
After the nine tails incident, the village is in heavy tension. The Uchiha clan is not an exception. The Hokage and the elders of the village has driven the Uchiha clan to the edge of the village. They suspect the Uchiha clan to be the preparator of this attack.
The members of the Uchiha clan were unhappy with the village authority for a long time. Now they were even more unhappy. So, the Uchiha clan head Fugaku was always tensed for this matter.
One day, Fugaku was taking a stroll around the clan compound with Sasuke. At this time, Sasuke suddenly asked,
"Father. Can you please teach me a jutsu?"
Fugaku looked at Sasuke for some time and decided that he should teach this son of his, some jutsu sometimes. He is always busy and never helps Sasuke help train. He took Sasuke near the lake by the clan compound.
"Look at the hand sign carefully. I am going to show you The Great Fireball jutsu."
Sasuke become very happy and paid attention to the jutsu.
Fugaku performed hand signs and performed the Fire Release: Great fireball jutsu. He created a massive fireball. Then he looked at Sasuke and said,
"I have already showed you the hand signs now build up your chakra on your chest and focus it on your throat and release it through your mouth."
Sasuke went ahead and performed the jutsu but the fireball was very very small. Seeing this Fugaku told Sasuke,
"I thought you will be like Itachi but you are not ready yet."
After saying this Fugaku walked away.
Hearing this Sasuke becomes depressed but he didn't give up and decided to practice. He didn't go to home until evening and kept practicing. He repeated the same routine the next day too. Thus, he burnet his face a little but kept practicing.
Mikoto Uchiha, Sasuke's mother become worried about her son.
At the third day Sasuke came running to his father, Fugaku Uchiha and said,
"Father, can you come watch me one more time?''
"Didn't I tell you that you are not ready yet and I can't teach you every day."
"No, Father. Just watch me."
Fugaku noticed the burnt marks on Sasuke's face and went with Sasuke to watch him.
Sasuke did the hand sign and performed the Great Fireball Jutsu. This time he created a fireball as big as his father did. He looked at his father's face expecting some praise, but his father just started walking away.
Sasuke become sadder and looked down. At this moment Fugaku stopped walking and said,
"Now, that's my boy. Keep working hard and don't follow your brothers' footsteps."
At the recognition of his father Sasuke become very happy and become determined to work harder.
Sasuke became very interested in training and wants recognition from his father. So, whenever Itachi was at home he pesters Itachi to train him.
One day Itachi took Sasuke to his personal training field where he used to practice by sending his shadow Colne to the academy. At this day he wants to teach Sasuke some shuriken techniques.
After going to the training ground Sasuke saw there was many mark boards all over the place. Itachi told Sasuke,
"Shuriken jutsu are one of the specialities of our clan. It is nearly our instincts to be good at shuriken jutsu. However, even if its our speciality because of our eyes. We still have to practice to be flawless."
When it comes to practice Sasuke becomes very serious and pays attention to every single details. Itachi taught Sasuke some simple shuriken techniques so that he can first work on his marksmanship.
Sasuke diligently practiced his jutsus everyday on Itachi's training ground. Sometimes Itachi will come to teach him and sometimes there will be Shisui too.
This is how Sasuke's life was going on.
At last Sasuke turned 7 and it was time for him to enrol in the Academy. On the first day of the academy everyone brought their parents with them. Sasuke also wanted to bring his father with him, but his father was busy, and he didn't even remember Sasuke's enrolment day date. Itachi was also on a mission. So, he had to go alone.
[A/N: In Sasuke's generation they enrolled in the academy at the age of 7]
After going to the ninja academy, Sasuke saw everyone was with their parents or family members. He become sad but with his personality no one can understand how he is feeling.
At that time Sasuke also noticed another blonde boy sitting alone at the swing which was hung with a tree near the academy. Everyone is avoiding him. He thought they were alike.
When Sasuke first saw the boy, he couldn't understand how he was feeling at that moment and how to describe the feelings but it sure wasn't the one that told him to stay away from him.
