Feeling ecstatic about the food she consumed to her heart's content, she sighed out with a stupid smile tugging on her lips. Slowly getting up from her seat, Vilian gasped, looking at the bathrobe she was still dressed in.
"Oh no!! What have I done?" She whispered whining to herself. She could not believe her own eyes, seeing the mess she had created. It looked like the bathrobe turned out to be a piece of old cloth.
"I gotta get dressed up quickly," said Vilian and turned to look for the dress bought, which she didn't take a look at earlier when she came out of the entice.
She remembered Ella saying to her that she hung the dress in the wardrobe which was standing giant beside the dresser. Walking towards it, she opened the wardrobe, and her eyes widened. The dresses weren't her type. It was totally out of her box. Everything was too lavish. Lavish gowns. Gowns that she screamed of uncomfortable, but she was in no state of complaining about it. She was more than grateful to get a dress to cloth herself rather than being half nude in a stranger's house.
Spotting a gown that looked quite a bit simple and much lighter in color she took it into her hand and admired the gown. She didn't like gowns not because she disliked them, but because it was uncomfortable. The gown which she took didn't need corsets. It was lighter in weight compared to the other dresses present in the wardrobe.
Placing it on the bed, she took off the bathrobe, wore the undergarments which came along with the gown, and then got dressed into the golden yellow gown which had the details of lace at the sleeves. The skirt had lace ruffles. There was a drawstring at the bust and a belt that ties at the back to define the waist.
Everything was fine till she found it hard to zip up the gown. She could not zip it fully to the end. Trying it for the third time in a weird position she gave up and thought to get help from the maid, Ella. Walking slowly, one hand holding onto the zip while the other took hold of the front of the gown, not wanting to trip and fall off.
Opening the door slowly but not entirely she put out only her head and peeked to only find the passage empty. Not one single maid or servant was there to be seen, including Ella. But then she heard the sharp clicks of shoes from the other direction, making her turn towards the direction. Shoe clicks followed along with a hum that she wasn't familiar with, making her curious about who might the person be. After a while, she saw who the shoe clicked and the humming voice belonged to. Her eyes widened. Vilian soon took her head in and shut the door the sooner she saw him.
Her chest heaved up and down as if she ran for a long time. Not soon the door knob turned. Vilian didn't budge away, standing against the door like a statue. After a while she heard the door knocking and didn't know know what to do.
"Looks like my little kitty loves seeing me use my powers," said Astrel, behind the door and not a minute passed by, Astrel stood in front of Vilian, startling her. She gasped and griped the zipper tightly and fisted the side of her gown tightly. Astrel cocked his head a side and observed the girl from top to bottom making the girl shudder. He walked forward towards her, making the girl confused as to why was he approaching her.
More than anything she was embarrassed, left dressed in half way and her zipper was left open. She didn't want him or anyone to see her in such a state. Astrel was the least she expected to enter the room. She had thought to call Ella for help in return Astrel was the one to come. She was smashing her head on the wall internally out of embarrassment. At the same time unexpectedly she felt the man suddenly pull her into an embrace startling her to no end. Her eyes went wide with shock.
"W-what are you doing?" she stuttered as one of his arms went around her waist to place it on her back.
"Helping you out, of course," came his simple reply.
"What do you mean help me?! Let me go!"
"Just shush now," he scolded her softly when she tried hard to step away. His hands moved across her back and stayed there before letting her go, "There. All went right," he commented, not waiting for her this time, he went to look at the table which was contained of empty dishes and some leftovers.
Vilian's brows furrowed at what he meant. It was after a few seconds that she realized. She felt her earlier loosely hanging dress tightened, fitting her body. She touched the back of her gown to find the zip up which meant the zip was now closed. Astrel had noticed it and she didn't know he had helped her.
"What are you, a pig or something?" Asked Astrel turning to look at Vilian who was provoked by him. The earlier thoughts of thanking him were replaced with a wave of anger.
She glared at him and said, "I was just hungry," gritting her teeth.
"Hungry to the content that you painted the robe into a weird color, I say," said Astrel and chuckled, making her speechless and embarrassed. The thought of discarding the robe slipped from her mind, in a hurry of zipping her gown.
"T-that... I-I..." she stuttered, earning a chuckle from him. Her cheeks were tinted pink in embarrassment.
"Your father will be reaching the Frost mansion in a day or so..."
"Father?" she asked in confusion and it dawned on her making her eyes go wide in realization, "Did father call you? How did you know?" she asked nearing him. Astrel smirked at her reaction to the mere mention of her 'father,' and her face turned pale. "Answer me, will you?" she asked pleadingly.
Astrel looked at her and said, "Michael was the one to call you yesterday before you fell unconscious." Vilian was now cleared with the numerous questions, but then she didn't know the reason why she heard the weird garbling sounds bringing a frown on her forehead. Astrel tapped on her frown bringing her back from her deep thoughts. "You're gonna turn gray old, the more you do that," he said, but Vilian was in no mood of falling for his teasing.
"Why do you think I hear those whispers and weird sounds?" She questioned seriously.
Astrel sighed and fell flat on the bed that bounced a little, "It seems to like you," he said, chuckling. Vilian fumed at him. She didn't know when would this man ever be serious. She was speaking something serious, and here he was teasing and chuckling like a jerk.
