Chương 94: "Arashi's business"
Arashi's eyes narrowed, her anger flaring at the implication that she couldn't handle Ray.
"Are you saying I should back down?" She demanded, her voice sharp.
The scar-faced man shook his head, his expression serious.
"Not at all, Himura-sama. We respect you and your family, and we would never question your decisions. But we've been following this foreign bastard since this morning, and tonight we've seen what he's capable of. We just want you to be aware of the risk." The scar-faced man warned Arashi again.
One of the boys, the tall and cocky one, stepped forward with a sneer.
"You're afraid of one guy and some bitch?" He mocked, clearly unimpressed.
"Please. We'll handle this. We're not afraid of some bitch ass loser who can't even keep a woman from leaving him." The tall and cocky boyfriend added.
The scar-faced man's jaw tightened.
"We're not questioning your abilities. We're just advising caution." The scar-faced man said. He kept his tone respectful.
Arashi glanced at the scar-faced man, her anger still simmering, but she recognized the sincerity on his words. Ever since a kid, she witnessed the Yakuzas had always shown respect to her family, especially to her mother. But for her, screw their warnings. She must humiliate Ray as much as he humiliated her in front of her family.
"I appreciate your concern, you old crook." Arashi said, her voice firm.
"But this is not your goddamn business and you should stay the fuck away from it." She added.
The scar-faced man nodded, understanding that her mind was made up.
"We'll step back, then, Himura-sama." He said, gesturing to his comrades.
"But please, be careful." The scar-faced man added.
Arashi turned back to the house, her determination unshaken. She wouldn't be intimidated, not by Ray, and not by any warnings.
As they reached the front door, one of the boyfriends stepped forward, banging on the door with a fist.
"Beg Arashi-chan for mercy and forgiveness or we'll beat your fucking sorry ass so bad, you won't sit a day or two, boy!" He called out, his voice loud and taunting.
The scar-faced man and his comrades watched, uneasy but unwilling to intervene. They respected Arashi too much to challenge her directly, but the memory of Ray's deadly skills and the foreign woman's ruthless efficiency lingered in their minds.
Arashi stood by the door, her heart pounding with anticipation. She could almost taste the satisfaction of seeing Ray beaten and humiliated, of making him pay for the way he had treated her. She clenched her fists, her anger driving forward, blinding her to reality of the situation.
After a few of banging on the door, none answered. It was eerily quiet in the neighborhood.
"Fuck is that guy doing inside his crappy house? Masturbating?" The short but muscled boyfriend cracked a joke, earning a few giggles from the girls.
"We should just barge in and rushed towards him." The tall and cocky boyfriend recommended.
"Don't let that fucking guy escape. I want his bones broken beyond repair." Arashi said, her voice filled with anger.
The three boys nodded in unison and ready to break the door in half.
As they prepared to barge into the Shigeyoshi house, their hearts raced with anticipation and anger. The three boyfriends, puffed up with arrogance, were ready to unleash their fury on the man who had humiliated Arashi.
But as they were about barge in, a voice, cold, deadly, and utterly emotionless, cut through the air like a blade.
"Going inside?" The voice asked, dripping with menace.
