Before visiting the training camps Raimon and his group toured the government palace with all the workers listening to a little history of this City.

The City of Anthos was born during the "Age of Uprising" from an encampment of the northern elven and human tribes, called Anthias. Created in the same place where one of the most difficult mythical beasts had fallen in cooperation of the two tribes.

The Goddess of Nature has her origin in these lands along with the possibly missing ancient God of War.

Some present-day streets are in the same location where the camp walls stood in ancient times.

The camp was destroyed during a fire two hundred years later. There is not much historical information about the following centuries, although it is known that when Raimon's ancestors arrived the city was conquered.

In the middle of the first hundred years, the arrival of the family's ancestors took up residence in Anthos Castle, making it the capital of the Count. At that time it began to transform into a real city.

In 4,126 it was declared the Capital City of Count Flower.

Despite the changes suffered during the war, Anthos preserves many buildings that witnessed great historical events.

The best way to get historical records is to discover every detail of this ancient city through tours in the company of an expert guide who can answer all your questions.

When the mythical beast awoke 500 years ago many things were lost. Despite the victory of Raimon's ancestor, the enormous losses suffered by the city necessitated reform of the system.

To this day there is still a statue of Duke Magnus, Raimon's ancestor, in the square of Anthos Castle.

This city has always been a place of strategic importance since the time of the Star Empire. Although the Flower family did not have much political power at that time, they were always recognized as great warriors, which is why they were entrusted with this place.

Despite numerous mythical elements, historians seem to agree that the drafting of the City's documents fell to the youngest son of Duke Magnus sometime towards the end of his life.

The economy of the City was based on agriculture and animal husbandry. With the reform and economic expansion, trade and crafts developed. As the Flowers were primarily engaged in warfare, the burden of the economy fell on the keeper of the City's government palace.

Anthos School of Fencing and Combat.

Regardless of nationality, gender or status, it was a school that had a different reputation than other schools, which only taught select, talented children.

Just by graduating from Anthos, or becoming an official apprentice, one could receive treatment similar to that of a nobleman.

It would boast more fame than getting a degree from the Royal Academy of the Solar Empire.

A place where any kid with a desire to drive a good future wants to set foot.

However,

"...it's hard for anyone to get in."

That was only natural. Only those with brilliant talent from all over the Solar Empire could graduate from the Anthos School of Fencing and Combat.

Those who had been eliminated from the competitions at the school returned to their hometowns with a feeling of frustration and inferiority.

That is why Raimon was very worried.

He had no choice but to worry about whether there was anyone who would follow him

"Will anyone be able to overcome the endless competition?"

Rogelio's words cheered Raimon up a bit saying the number of students in the City.

Just last night, he laughed and smiled all night as he imagined someone reliable and upright following him and becoming an outstanding Knight or Warrior.

But the Duchy did not want to impose its will on its people.

It did not want to pressure anyone.

Only the fittest and strong-willed would take that step.

But he knew how difficult the road would be for anyone.

Thinking that the half-siblings of many Dukes of the family rose to fame in this place, as soon as he managed to leave the room from excitement he decided to contain his hopes.

A calm tone came out of Raimon's mouth.

However, seeing how Raimon responded with a more excited expression than usual, Reineza held her Young Master's shoulders without saying anything else.

By the end of the day, the spring chill had disappeared.

For the first time in his life, Young Master Raimon, the prince of the family, came out of the government palace.

It was because he was going to the place where the apprentices of the Anthos School of Fencing and Combat were meeting.

Of course, that was not all.

Although he received the letter of recommendation from the many people in the palace, Raimon still had to take the exams as an apprentice to evaluate people.

To be officially admitted to the fencing school, one had to endure a year of training.

And one would also have to score good marks in all the evaluations.

Remembering that fact, Raimon closed his eyes.

"Will anyone be able to do well?"

He doubted the chances of finding anyone there.

Expecting high grades to find someone without an outstanding background in the school seemed greedy.

However, Raimon accepted Duchess Dalia's offer for two reasons.

The first was to use the opportunity as a turning point in his life.

"I'm in a dangerous world, I need allies who will grow with me and follow the same goals."

His current self did not like to stand idle. Rather, he was more sincere in training than anyone else.

But it was not of his own free will but purely because of the mysterious ones of this world, he was fed up with the monotonous life of his old world.

Raimon needed to find the purpose of his life, living as a lifeless mechanism just following orders, meaningless rules and wanting to live in the shadow of other people's expectations had to be a thing of the past.
