Chương 16: THE QUESTION

As of now, he was only in his briefs lying wet right in front of her and that too on her bed which was like a dream come true for every girl who looks for a prince charming in her life and getting carried away at the moment she moved towards him to kiss him and no sooner she was as close as an inch far away from his lips

And now she was so close to him that she could feel the warmth of his breath which made her lose even her remaining control on oneself because of which she too took out all her clothes and was about to jump on him only to be interfered with by calling on her landline number which kind of brought her back to senses only for her to pick up the call

As soon as she could and on the other side of the call it was Julie who was the operation's manager in her firm who informed her about the fact that the office will remain closed for an indefinite period due to the loss it suffered because of thunderbolts which even fell on the office building which again gave her a shock as that's what she dreamt about sometimes ago which too came true as they both witnessed it with their naked eyes

Which made her upset because she was unable to understand what was going on? , which even changed her mood and hence she again wrapped Chris with one of the clothes of her uncle who was an army man and she too put on her clothes and went inside the kitchen to prepare Coffee as until then her head started almost paining with all the incidents which were happening around her, but he was like an energy booster for her

So she took a mug of coffee and sat before him and started sipping it staring again at Chris and while in that condition he was looking even more attractive and charming like a cute baby that she felt like she should kiss him, but she needed to control herself, but one thing which was in her control were photos, so she just took her phone and started clicking few of his pics and after a while got into the balcony to take a view of the scenarios outside and kept standing there until he woke up, at around 11 PM

Only for him to inquire her," What am I doing here ?, And who changed my clothes?", And completing the sentence he tried to step on the ground only to shout in pain once again because of which she told him the whole scenario of what happened right from him slipping on the stairs to coming back into a conscious state

And hence thanking Scarlett, he decided to move out of the place only to witness the hazardous face of nature outside in form of heavy rainfall because of which he decided to stay at her place having no other option, but only to wait for the rainfall to moderate or get low so that he can go out because then only, he will be able to get any kind of help as his Car also broke outside the bar along with getting damaged due to hitting by a thunderbolt

And for now, there are no other means of transportation for him to reach his house which was almost 5 miles (8 km) away from her place as it was just 2 miles (3.22 km) away from the bar, so she suggested him to stay at her place itself as it was also a night and that he can find solution's the next day to get out of there as the weather might change till then to which he also agreed

And decided to stay at her place and no sooner did they both sleep peacefully due to the weather outside only for her to surprisingly see him in front of her the very next morning holding mugs of Coffee in both of his hands and offering one of them to me which again shocked Scarlett as everything was happening in the same pattern which she saw in her dream reality a day ago

But before she could ask him anything further, Chris speaks," I hope you won't be minding for doing at least that much for you because after all, I am giving you a cup of coffee", he told with a smile on his face

But soon he gets disappointed as well because the weather outside hasn't changed a bit right from the last night as it was raining heavily till that moment

But fortunately, after a while, the rainfall stops because of which he goes back to his house and the very next day she also comes across the news that the office building has been renovated successfully and hence they all have to report in the office the very next day and as per the message, she reached office the next day only for her to surprisingly come across the fact that the building was still under renovation

So she called back Julie who informed her about the fact that the building has been renovated, but she denied doing anything like that, so Scarlett decided to get back to her house and while on her way back home, she comes across Chris who calls her from the other side of the road only for her to have a look at him and get scared as in a wink of an eye, his face starts burning like a flame

And he struck towards Scarlett like a rocket, only for me to open her eyes breathing heavily while still on her bed in the apartment only to look at the watch which was ticking at 3'O clock, After a while, she again went back to her bed after using washroom only to come across the noise of something falling in the kitchen and for her to go there and cross-check the kitchen

Only to stumble upon someone who was preparing Coffee for himself but before she could ask or inquire anything that unknown uttered," You lust for him ?"
