Milliseconds before the blade of Joel's {Reaper's Sabre} was about to make contact with Robbie's neck, I heard the chant once again.

"Let's go, Nija."

The dark blade of Joel's {Reaper's Sabre} sliced into nothing but thin air. Robbie had teleported away, using the ability of Nija. He appeared behind Joel, instantly summoning his vines from his arms.

"Rein Helleborus."

With no time to recover, Joel was caught in the unyielding grip of Robbie's thick vines. Joel was completely immobilised, he struggled all he could, but once he had been grabbed by the vines, there was basically no escaping it.

"I was so close!" Joel commented.

"Ah, that's what you're hung up on?" Robbie answered.
