After a sumptuous breakfast, where I continued to nag about Leo’s lack of manners to the latter’s dismay, the both of us headed towards Leo’s place and waited for Uncle Evan and Aunt June to wake up from their slumber.
While waiting, Leo forced me to play video games with him, stating that he was feeling bored. Rolling my eyes, I simply wanted to ignore him but when I saw his puppy dog look, my heart instantly softened and I ended up accompanying him for the next few hours on the sofa, without moving.
In the end, when the two adults finally came down the stairs, I couldn’t help but have an epiphany and exclaimed, “Instead of playing video games, we should have started doing our homework! We would have been finished by now had we done that instead of playing.”
“But it wouldn’t have been fun!” Leo pouted, giving my cheek a squeeze before heading off to the dining room to get some food again, even when he just had a large breakfast awhile ago.
