"No." Leo replied, still looking quite pissed. "If he really wanted to, he could have just followed me by himself."
Kane realized that Leo must have thought that Hunter would come after him once the latter saw him leaving the mansion. However, it seemed that he had failed to account that Hunter was too busy wallowing in his own sadness to even realize that Leo had appeared before him and left without saying anything. Leo, on the other hand, simply took a precursory glance at Hunter and simply made his own assumptions before leaving.
However, instead of reminding Leo about this, he simply stayed silent, not wanting Leo to go back for Hunter since it would go against his plans. Therefore, when the chauffeur finally arrived with his car, the only people that left were the two teenagers, leaving a single guest alone back in the mansion.
