It was a rather dull sunday as the winter breeze blew through the streets of the suburbs. Both Leo and I had completely overslept and only managed to wake up at around 11am. Since it seemed a little late for breakfast, I decided that we should head over to Leo's place instead to have brunch with his family.
When we walked over to Leo's house through the backyard, Aunt June gladly greeted us and invited us in. She had woken up a little earlier than us and was already in the kitchen, preparing to make a scumptous brunch for herself and her husband. Seeing us arrive, Aunt June simply went back to the kitchen and took out another 2 portions of the uncooked foods, doubling her load. I tried to help her out in the kitchen as well, but was immediately rejected. Instead, Aunt June simply had me accompany Leo while the both of us sat in the living room and waited for brunch to be served.
