Leo had already went well overboard preparing our accomodation for the past few days. Now that our manager had recovered from her sickness, Leo no longer had any excuse nor any money to accompany me all the way towards the Big Apple city. In fact, even if he still had some money within his pockets, I wouldn't think his parents would allow him to fly all the way to the other side of the coast just to spend more time with me, since we had already been stuck together from the start of the holiday season.
