It has been three days since Alex and his companions departed from the bustling city and arrived in Griffin city. They've spent their time traveling in a grand carriage, which unfortunately broke down, forcing them to rent a room for the time being. The rented room is a cozy space, and Alex and Maya are currently engrossed in a deep conversation about their future plans. Meanwhile, Linda ventured outside in disguise for some shopping.
Maya suddenly shifted the tone of the conversation to a more serious note, "Do you have any knowledge about the last city and the current situation there?" Alex, who had previously spoken to Maya in an inferior tone, responded to her query in a much more formal manner, "Yes, I am aware that it is a city in rebellion." Maya, who was now confused and a bit angry, retorted, "If you knew about the situation, then why did you accept the King's offer so easily?"
Alex, in a relaxed manner, replied, "I have a plan for this." Before Maya could question him further, they heard a knock on the door. Maya quickly got up to answer the door, and as she opened it, she was greeted by a surprising sight.

Half an hour before, in a bustling marketplace, Linda meandered through the stalls, her face partially hidden. Suddenly, she caught sight of a breathtaking necklace that immediately caught her eye. But before she could even consider making a move, another shopper snatched it up. Determined not to let the necklace slip through her fingers, Linda approached the man and implored him to resell it to her.
The man, who had been preoccupied with the beauty of Linda's body curves, was momentarily taken aback. "Oh my," he thought, "she is a stunning woman, even with her face concealed." Without hesitation, he saw an opportunity to win her over. After some time, he proposed a bet to Linda: a game of chess. But it wasn't just any game of chess; in this world, the game was played using mana and mental strength. The stronger the mana, the more pieces a player could take down, and the longer the mental strength, the more extended the game. The man explained the stakes of the game: if Linda lost, she would have to drink with him all night long, and he would take advantage of her. However, if she won, the necklace would be hers, free of charge.
Despite the high stakes, Linda accepted the man's challenge without hesitation. She exuded confidence, eager to prove her mental strength and show her opponent that she was not to be trifled with.
Linda and the man sat on the comfortable armchairs, ready to play the game of chess. The man made the first move, and they both began to concentrate on the game, their eyes fixed on the board. Move after move, Linda outmaneuvered her opponent, taking down all of his chess pieces except for the king. It was evident that she was playing intensely, determined to fully exhaust her opponent and humiliate him.
The man grew exhausted, unable to take down even a single chess piece of Linda's. He slumped in his chair, defeated. According to the untold rules of chess, standing up before completing the game is considered worse than losing, and losing to a woman is the ultimate humiliation.
After more than an hour of intense concentration, the man lost consciousness, slumping to the ground. When he awoke, Linda was standing over him, her voice a whisper in his ear. "Did you think that winning this chess match would entitle you to get me drunk and do whatever you want with me? That was your biggest misunderstanding. Don't think that just because I am a woman, you can do whatever you want." With that, Linda snatched her necklace from the table and left the room.
But the man was not willing to accept defeat. In a moment of madness, he grabbed his sword and charged toward Linda, screaming profanities. But Linda was quick to react. She dodged the sword and delivered a swift kick to the man's stomach, sending him flying through the air and crashing into the wall. Linda snatched the sword from his hand and, in a moment of rage, sliced off his right hand. The man screamed in pain, blood spilling from his wound as Linda threw down the sword and left the room, victorious.
The scene takes place in a rented room where Maya greets Linda as she enters. With an air of mystery, Linda poses a question to Alex, "Do you think I look any different?" A twinkle in her eyes and a smile on her lips suggest playful intentions. Alex takes a moment to observe her and admires the shimmering new necklace around her neck, but then boldly declares, "It's beautiful, but not more than you." The compliment lands effortlessly, causing Linda's face to flush with excitement. She tries to hide her delight, but the joy is too evident in her expression. After a moment of small talk, Linda announces that she's tired and makes an excuse to retreat to her room. As she departs, Maya follows suit, leaving Alex to ponder his thoughts.
In Alex's mind, he realizes the happiness he feels in the moment is exactly what he's been searching for. However, he knows that he can't let his guard down, as he has a mission to accomplish. To become the city lord of Last City, he must follow his plan without any mistakes. The stakes are high, and the road ahead is full of challenges, but he remains determined to succeed.
From the inside of Griffin city lord's opulent mansion, the enraged ruler bellowed at the man in the black attire, demanding to know if he had finally located the woman responsible for his son's disfigurement. The man in black calmly responded, "Your Majesty, our intelligence team has uncovered that she and her accomplices are currently taking refuge in an inn near the main road." Fueled by anger, the city lord hurled a glass at the man, exclaiming, "If you have found her, why haven't you brought her to me? I want her dead!" The man deftly caught the glass and revealed a crucial detail, "My Lord, the woman is no ordinary commoner. Our reports suggest that she may be a member of the royal family, and as such, any attempt to harm her would be illegal." Furious at this revelation, the city lord snarled, "So, what are you saying? That I should let her go because of her status?" The man chuckled wryly, "Of course not, my Lord. While we cannot touch her legally, there are other ways to deal with the situation." Intrigued, the city lord pressed him to elaborate. The man revealed that the woman and her cohorts were headed to the Last City, and he proposed a clever ruse that would force them to take the perilous road inhabited by the infamous man-eating woman. The city lord was impressed by the man's cunning and praised him with a hearty laugh.

(So, in the next chapter another MILF is coming but this time it's not a human but... a monster.)
As I said I write more than 1200 words for this chapter.
