Leo's sadistic amusement grew as he saw Judge Richard's call coming in again even before he could call back. This assured him she was completely unaware of his true nature, expressing her dilemma. He relished the power he held over her, knowing that she was entangled in a web spun by his own hands. The knowledge that she had reached out to him before the case continued only added to his amusement.

He purposefully feigned exhaustion, wanting to assert his dominance and keep her waiting in line. Finally, he answered her call, pretending to be groggy and caught off guard. He could almost picture her on the other end, concerned yet eager to share the important information.

'Am I that important?' Leo mumbled in his mind with a sheepish smile. 

"Sorry, I didn't think I would get a call, if not I wouldn't be sleeping this early." Leo tried to sound as exhausted as he could.
