{A/N: I am thinking about giving izuku an assistant to help with public relations after the sports festival. Any ideas who I should make them? They can be from MHA or another story if you would like, I'll take the top suggestions and do a poll before the sports festival.
I Don't know why but after that latest my dress-up darling chapter I want to do Marin, she deserves some happiness}
[All Might POV]
Wednesday, 8:45am
The wind rushes past my face as I soar through the morning sky. Another day, another chance to keep the peace. My muscles ache a bit more than usual, but I push the thought aside. No time for that now.
"Save us, heroes!" A woman's cry pierces through the air. "At least save my daughter!"
I adjust my course without hesitation. In this line of work, every second counts.
As I land behind the villain, I take in the scene. A terrified family, a menacing figure. Just another day at the office.
"Fear not, good family!" I boom, flashing my trademark grin. "I am here!"
The villain barely has time to turn before I channel One For All into my hand. "MISSOURI SMASH!"
My chop connects with the back of his neck, and he crumples like a sack of potatoes. In the same motion, I scoop up the woman and her daughter, whisking them to safety.
"I am here to keep you safe," I assure them, "even on my morning commute!"
As they shower me with thanks, I hear a familiar voice. Mt. Lady approaches, looking a bit deflated.
"We appreciate it, All Might," she says, "but... you'll put us out of business at this rate."
I chuckle, about to respond, when another cry for help reaches my ears. Duty calls.
"I shouldn't be late for school," I mutter, "but I must help people in need!"
With a nod to Mt. Lady and the family, I'm off again, propelling myself towards the next crisis.
As I fly, I can't ignore the strain in my muscles. I'm not as fast as I used to be. The years of non-stop heroics are catching up with me. Not to mention passing One For All to young Midoriya...
No time for such thoughts. Below me, a stolen car weaves through traffic like a maniac. Time to put the brakes on this joy ride.
I land in the car's path, my feet cracking the pavement. The vehicle slams into my outstretched hand, crumpling like it hit a brick wall.
The crowd goes wild, phones flashing left and right. I smile and wave, but my ears are already seeking out the next problem.
"I heard there's a hostage crisis in the town over," someone in the crowd says.
A hostage situation? No time to lose.
With a final wave, I launch myself skyward once more. As I fly, my mind wanders to young Midoriya. How is he adjusting to One For All? Is he ready for the burden I've placed on his shoulders?
I shake off the doubt. I chose him for a reason. He has the heart of a true hero.
The hostage situation turns out to be at a bank. Classic. I land outside, where a police officer briefs me.
"Ten hostages inside, All Might. Three armed robbers. They're demanding a helicopter and safe passage."
I nod, my mind already formulating a plan. "Leave it to me, officer. I'll have those hostages out safely in no time!"
I burst through the bank's front doors, my voice booming. "VILLAINS! YOUR REIGN OF TERROR ENDS NOW!"
The robbers spin towards me, their guns raised. But they're too slow. In the blink of an eye, I'm behind them.
"CALIFORNIA SMASH!"
My attack sends them flying, their weapons clattering to the ground. The hostages cheer as I quickly round up the dazed criminals.
"Are you all right, citizens?" I ask, checking each hostage for injuries.
They're shaken but unharmed. As I lead them out to safety, I catch a glimpse of my reflection in a shattered window.
For a moment, I see my true form - gaunt, haggard, a shadow of my former self. But I push the image aside. The world needs All Might, not Toshinori Yagi.
And as long as there were people in need, I would never stop fighting.
[Izuku Midoriya's POV]
Wednesday, 12:45pm
"For today's hero training, things will be a little different," he announced, his face as impassive as ever. "All Might, myself, and another faculty member will be observing you."
Three pros? Interesting. A response to the security breach, perhaps? Or something more? I filed the information away for later analysis.
"We're doing rescue training," Aizawa continued, his eyes scanning the room. "Time to put yesterday's lessons into practice."
The class erupted into excited chatter. I kept my face neutral, but my mind was already racing through scenarios, calculating potential outcomes.
"Rescue, huh?" Kaminari grinned. "Sounds like a workout."
Kirishima pumped his fist. "Real hero stuff! This is what separates the men from the boys!"
I resisted the urge to roll my eyes. Typical Kirishima, always with the macho posturing.
"I'm not finished," Aizawa growled, silencing the room. "Wear your costumes if you want, but remember they might hinder you. We're going by bus. Be at the front of the school by 1:30. That's all."
As we filed out to get our costumes, I ran through my mental checklist. Rescue training, then coffee with Nejire, followed by planning with Momo. A busy day, but each interaction was an opportunity. I just had to play my cards right.
Standing in front of the school at 1:17, I watched my classmates arrive. Iida was in full class rep mode, trying to organize everyone into neat lines.
"Midoriya!" he called, rushing over. "Should we have them line up by ID number?"
I suppressed a sigh. "We're adults, Iida. I'm sure they can manage to get on a bus without supervision."
Aizawa's arrival cut off any further discussion. "Get on the bus," he drawled, looking as enthusiastic as ever.
I ended up sandwiched between Momo and Tsu. Not ideal for observing everyone, but it would do. As the bus rumbled along, I half-listened to the chatter around me, my mind already strategizing for the upcoming exercise.
"Midoriya," Tsu's voice pulled me from my thoughts. "I always say what's on my mind, so..."
I turned to her, keeping my expression open and friendly. "What's up, Tsu?"
"Your quirk is really similar to All Might's."
For a split second, panic flared in my chest. I quashed it immediately, my face betraying nothing. This was a crucial moment. My response could either quell suspicions or fuel them.
I laughed, rubbing the back of my neck sheepishly. "You think so? I guess there are some similarities. But All Might is on a whole other level. I'm just trying to make the most of what I've got."
Kirishima leaned in from across the aisle. "Yeah, but it is pretty crazy how strong you've gotten. Weren't you quirkless before?"
Damn. This was getting dangerous. Time to redirect.
"It's been a long journey," I said, injecting just the right amount of emotion into my voice. "But everyone here has amazing quirks. Kirishima, your hardening is incredible for both offense and defense. And Tsu, your frog-like abilities give you such versatility."
Kirishima grinned, successfully distracted. "Aw, thanks man! Your quirk is super manly too!"
Tsu tilted her head, seemingly satisfied with my answer. "That's true. Everyone here has such unique abilities."
Crisis averted, for now. But I'd need to be more careful. These comparisons to All Might were dangerous.
The conversation shifted to other topics, and I allowed myself to relax slightly. As we neared our destination, I caught snippets of conversation from around the bus.
Kaminari was trying (and failing) to flirt with Jiro. Uraraka and Iida were having an animated discussion about hero ethics. And Bakugo... well, Bakugo was being Bakugo.
"What did you say, you extra?!" he snarled at some poor soul who'd dared to speak to him.
I shook my head. Bakugo's temper was going to be a problem in rescue operations. But maybe I could use that to my advantage...
The bus came to a stop, and Aizawa stood up. "We're here. Everyone out."
As we filed off the bus, I got my first look at our training ground. It was massive, a dome-like structure that seemed to house multiple environments.
"Welcome to the Unforeseen Simulation Joint!" a new voice called out. I turned to see a figure in a bulky space suit approaching. "I built this facility myself. I call it the USJ!"
"It's the Space Hero, Thirteen!" Uraraka squealed, her eyes sparkling with admiration.
I nodded, my mind already working. Thirteen's quirk, Blackhole, was incredibly powerful. Destructive, yes, but also with immense potential for rescue operations. I'd need to pay close attention to how they used it.
Thirteen began explaining the facility and the nature of our training. I listened intently, noting every detail. Knowledge was power, after all.
"Before we begin," Thirteen said, holding up three fingers, "I have two... no, three points to make."
As they launched into their speech about the dangers of quirks and the importance of control, I found my gaze drawn to Aizawa. He seemed... tense. More so than usual.
I followed his line of sight and felt my blood run cold. In the center of the USJ, a dark portal was swirling into existence.
"Gather together and don't move!" Aizawa barked, his capture weapon already unfurling. "Thirteen, protect the students!"
Figures began emerging from the portal. Dozens, no, hundreds of them. Each one radiating malicious intent.
Villains. Real villains.
"What's going on?" Kirishima asked, peering over the railing. "Is this like the entrance exam?"
"Don't move!" Aizawa snapped. "Those are villains."
The class fell silent, the reality of the situation sinking in. This wasn't a drill. This was real.
My mind raced, analyzing the situation. How had they gotten in? Why here? Why now?
"Thirteen!" Aizawa called. "Begin evacuation! Try calling the school. These villains must have some way to jam the sensors. Kaminari, use your quirk to try and contact the school!"
As Thirteen began herding the class towards the exit, I made a split-second decision. This was too good an opportunity to pass up.
"Sensei!" I called out. "You can't fight them all alone!"
Aizawa turned to me, his eyes hidden behind his goggles. "No hero is a one-trick pony. I'll be fine. Your job is to stay safe."
With that, he leapt into the fray, his capture weapon whipping out to ensnare the nearest villains.
I watched him go, my mind whirling. This changed everything. The rescue training, my plans for later... all of it was out the window now.
But maybe... maybe this was an even better opportunity.
As we neared the exit, another portal opened directly in front of us. A figure made of swirling mist emerged, its yellow eyes gleaming with malice.
"Greetings," it said, its voice eerily calm. "We are the League of Villains. Forgive our audacity, but we've come here to the U.A. College of Heroics to extinguish the Symbol of Peace, All Might."
The class froze, terror evident on their faces. But beneath my mask of shock, my mind was working overtime.
The League of Villains. A new player on the board. And they were after All Might.
This... this could change everything.
Thirteen stepped forward, their finger caps opening. But before they could act, Bakugo and Kirishima launched themselves at the mist villain. The fucking idiots. "GET OUT OF THE WAY!"
"Not if we end you first!" Bakugo roared, ignoring me, an explosion erupting from his palm.
For a moment, it seemed like they'd succeeded. Then the mist reformed, unharmed.
"That was close," the villain mused. "Students though you may be, you are the best of the best."
Suddenly, the mist expanded, enveloping us all. I felt myself being pulled in, the world around me fading to black.
The world snapped back into focus, and I found myself surrounded by crumbling concrete and twisted metal. The Ruins Zone. Perfect.
"Yaoyorozu? Jiro?" I called out, spotting two familiar figures nearby.
Momo turned to me, her eyes wide. "Midoriya? Where are we? What happened to the others?"
I scanned our surroundings, my mind already cataloging potential escape routes and defensible positions. "We're in the Ruins Zone. That mist villain must have scattered us throughout the USJ."
Kyoka's earphone jacks twitched nervously. "Scattered us? But why?"
"To divide and conquer," I said grimly. "They're after All Might, remember? We're just obstacles to be removed."
Momo's hand went to her chest, ready to create something with her quirk. "What should we do?"
"First, we need to assess our resources," I said, slipping into leader mode. "Yaoyorozu, what materials do you have available for your quirk?"
She blinked, then nodded, understanding. "I've memorized the atomic structures of various metals, plastics, and simple machines. I should be able to create basic weapons and tools."
"Good," I nodded. "Jiro, how far can your earphone jacks reach? Can you use them to detect any nearby villains?"
Kyoka plugged her jacks into the ground, concentrating. "I can hear movement about 50 meters north of us. Multiple footsteps. Villains, probably."
I allowed a small smile. This was working out better than I could have hoped. With Momo's creation quirk and Jiro's sensory abilities, we had a solid foundation for both offense and defense.
"Alright, here's the plan," I said, keeping my voice low. "Our primary objective is to regroup with the others and find a way to contact U.A. for backup. But we also need to gather as much information about these villains as possible."
Momo frowned. "Information? Shouldn't we focus on escaping?"
I shook my head. "Think about it. These villains managed to infiltrate U.A., one of the most secure facilities in Japan. They knew about this training exercise. That level of intel suggests a serious security breach."
Understanding dawned in their eyes. Good.
"So what do we do?" Jiro asked.
"We move cautiously towards the entrance," I explained. "Jiro, you'll be our early warning system. Yaoyorozu, I need you to create some basic weapons and a first aid kit, just in case. I'll take point."
Thank you for reaching 500 power stones! Here is an early chapter as thanks!
