A jet-black dress with deep slits on each side hugged her curves. Silver plating covered her midsection, and silver greaves and gauntlets protected her legs. Her hair was done up in an elegant braided bun, and an ornate eye mask of black and silver hid her appearance.

What did you think of this chapter. Honestly I had orignally intended for Maria to end up a part of Rune's harem. But the more I thought about how I wanted the end of the story to play out, the more I started leaning towards something else. I think it will turn out better this way when all is said and done, but we will just have to wait and see.
