Chương 8: Youthful
Time has slipped by since that pivotal moment, 19 years now passed since I stopped the villains and vanquished The One Who Destroys All. I've aged during these years, and now find myself at 41.
Though the past still weighs heavily on my conscience, my life has returned to a semblance of normalcy. The world has moved on, and the memories of that chaotic day are now distant and faded.
As I go about my daily routine, I can't help but shake off a persistent feeling of unease. The uncanny sense that something is watching me from the shadows has been growing stronger lately.
The feeling of being constantly observed, as if the hidden eyes of whatever is following me can see my every move. It's subtle, but I can tell that something is amiss.
The thought that something or someone is stalking me in the shadows gnaws at the back of my mind, making me increasingly paranoid. I try to brush it off, telling myself that it's just a random feeling, nothing more. Yet, the eerie tingling sensation of being watched persists.
As I reminisce about the past, I find myself pining for the carefree days of high school. I miss the camaraderie, the youthful energy, and the sense of endless possibilities. There's a pang of nostalgia as I think about those times, and a part of me wishes I could go back and relive those moments.
In a sudden twist of fate, I find myself abruptly transported back in time, reversing the age by 15 years. I'm now back to my 16-year-old self, back in the prime of my youth.
The unexpected leap back in time takes me by surprise. I can't help but marvel at the sudden shift, feeling the pang of familiar, youthful energy.
I have just gotten back home after a rough day of being beaten up by the townspeople because I failed to say "Thank You". I have some scars and bruises, but no serious injuries. My family and servants are waiting for me, my brother, who looks satisfied and my father, who looks angry and disappointed.
