Lu Lingche seemed indifferent to Qiao Yin drying her hands. He lifted the lid off the small pot simmering porridge, served a bowl of chestnut porridge, and placed it before Qiao Yin, "The temperature is just right, not too cold, nor too hot. Try it."
Aside from her love for pumpkin-based dishes, chestnuts were Qiao Yin's favorite food. What she hadn't expected was that Lu Lingche would remember this.
Aside from the chestnut porridge, there were four additional side dishes on the table. However, Qiao Yin did not think they were made by Lu Lingche.
Whether he made them was not important; what mattered was whether they tasted good.
Qiao Yin bowed her head and ate, filling her empty stomach.
After breakfast, Lu Lingche took her to the medical clinic. Qiao Yin's car was still at the Gu Family's place, and she wouldn't be able to drive it today.
As they were nearing the clinic, Lu Lingche's phone suddenly rang. He glanced at it but did not answer.
