Man this is one of those novels that is really well written and has very little grammatical errors imo but it’s just dead inside. The characters are so bland I dont feel any emotion whatsoever from them. I feel like I’m just reading thing so they can progress the plot. Especially with the way the mc speaks and thinks all formal. It’s just terrible and normal people don’t talk or think like this all the time. Like every interaction early on they are talking about how the mc has respect and understanding now towards Eris or how he’s looking forward to the future and how he has to prove himself. This would be fine if it was worded differently and not so formally that it just sounds weird and unnatural. Especially when they are all thought back to back basically and he even directly tells eris sometimes. This is not smooth and feels weird. Not to mention the mc having his pride hurt becuase eris doesn’t want to learn from him like he didn’t just transmigrate a couple days ago and got all these skills for free so idk why his prides hurt.
