Chương 2: Chapter 2: First Visitor
During the couple of hours after Tang Yu had opened the museum, she sat at the reception desk attentively like a professional receptionist, waiting for her first visitor. However, not a single person walked through the front door.
But just when Tang Yu was about to lose hope, she saw the door swing open and young man dressed in gold with a sword on his back walk inside.

Tian Jing was a true disciple of the Golden Sword Sect, one of the strongest sects in the Fire Song Empire. It was said that the sect leader of the Golden Sword Sect was a mighty peak spirit integration realm cultivator. Being a true disciple of a strong sect, he was talented, and had reached the core formation stage at the young age of 24. He had been staying in White Flame city in order to complete a mission that he had taken from the sect. After completing the mission, he had started heading back to the sect to turn in the mission.
Feeling quite cheerful after having completed his mission, he took his time wandering through the magnificent city, and ended up walking down a deserted street with one building on it. The building looked quite out of place on the deserted street, having a refined look to it while the buildings around it were crumbling and appeared to have been empty for quite some time. Outside of the building, there was a large signboard with three words written in elegant script: "Museum of Enlightenment".
"Museum? What is a museum?" Tian Jing thought to himself. Finding this building interesting, and decided to go inside and see what it had to offer.

In the museum, Tang Yu almost jumped out of her chair in excitement when she saw Tian Jing walk through the door. Putting on her most professional smile, Tang Yu began reciting the lines that she had spent the past few hours rehearsing in her head.
"Good afternoon! Welcome to the Museum of Enlightenment! Would you like to visit our newly opened exhibition today?" Tang Yu greeted cheerfully.
"What is this 'museum' that you mention?" Tian Jing replied.
"I'm glad you asked! Our museum uses many different methods to preserve pieces we believe to be of historical significance. These items could be artifacts, keepsakes, legacies, and techniques to name a few. These pieces are then placed in something called 'exhibits'. Each exhibit contains a multitude of pieces that generally will all fallow a theme of some kind. Visitors get the opportunity to explore these exhibits for themselves to understand this history."
Tian Jing looked skeptical. In front of him was a young girls with seemingly no cultivation telling him that this 'museum' had items of historical significance?
"What could she possibly have" he thought. "It's probably just some family keepsakes or some small toys she found on the side of the road." However, Tian Jing decided to check this 'exhibit' thing out in order to satisfy his curiosity.
"How much would this exhibit cost?" he asked while preparing to take out a couple of gold coins from his spatial ring.
"The price of each exhibit is listed on the board behind me. Currently we have one exhibit available called 'Blades of Destiny: The Art of Legendary Sword Strikes.' You can purchase a day pass for room one for five spirit--"
Tian Jing's eyebrows shot up as his face darkened.
"Girl, you're joking with me right? There's no way that this should cost five spirit crystals for simply a day of looking at some old trash. Do you mean five gold coins instead of five spirit crystals? You do know each spirit crystal is equivalent to the value of 1,000 gold coins right?"
"Yes I am well aware that one spirit crystal is equivalent to 1,000 gold coins, and the price that I just listed is correct. Once you see the exhibit, you will understand that spending a day's worth of time is more than worth it" Tang Yu patiently explained.
"Now, aside from the pass for room one, you may also purchase a day pass form room two as well. This pass costs 50 spirit crystals. The day pass for the third room of the exhibition costs 250 spirit stones. If you purchase a pass for a room to an exhibit, you get access to all of the preceding rooms of the exhibit. For example, if you purchased a day pass for the third room, you would also have access to rooms one and two of that exhibit."
As soon as Tang Yu stopped speaking, Tian Jing started expressing his shock at the outrageous prices again as Tang Yu sighed inwardly.
"TWO HUNDRED FIFTY SPIRIT CRYSTALS?! ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?" Tian Jing screamed. Even he, as a core formation cultivator and a true disciple, only had a couple hundred spirit crystals to his name. He couldn't even afford to enter the third room of the exhibit.
Now that he knew of the outrageous cost, Tian Jing decided to prove that this girl was a scammer and to stop her from scamming others in the future.
"Fine" Tian Jing said while gritting his teeth. l and flinging five spirit crystals onto the counter. "Give me a day pass for the first room. However, if you're lying to me you must promise that you will close this museum and live an honest life from now one okay?"
"I, Tang Yu swear that if your day pass for the first room of the exhibition is now worth it's value, I will close down this museum and live an honest life from now on" she replied with a straight face.
After these words, Tang Yu reached below the reception desk and pulled out a wooden medal with the name of the exhibit as well as the room number on it. Handing it to Tian Jing, she said, "The pass will work until the end of the day when the museum closes. At this time, simply return the medal to me. You will not be able to leave the museum with the medal on you. The exhibit area is located through the doorway on the left and the exhibit is the first doorway on the left after you enter the exhibit area."
Nodding halfheartedly, Tian Jing took the wooden medal and headed towards the exhibit.
