Silica, who watched Zen's battle from behind, was amazed at Zen's prowess. Even more so when slaughtering all the players who attacked him. But something worries her.
"Y-You know master swordsman, if you hurt someone, then your cursor will change, and all the players will scorn you" said Rosalia with her evil smile.
Zen then realized, that hurting other players can also change the cursor. And now the cursor has turned yellow, because it slashed at another player.
"Let me be clear Rosalia-san, even though I'm in a group right now, that group only contains me and my girlfriend. So I don't care about being a player with a yellow cursor in the next few days. Also, I'm used to hearing people booing me" said Zen in a cold tone. .
Hearing this Rosalia started dropping her weapon signaling her surrender. Then Zen started to sheath his sword and dragged Rosalia towards where the members of her group had been massacred by Zen earlier.
After confirming that they were assembled, Zen used the crystal given by the guild master who wanted revenge on his members and teleported all the assassin groups to prison.
After everything was done, Zen started walking towards Silica who was still standing still holding her teleportation crystal.
"I'm sorry Silica, I got you into some trouble" said Zen who arrived in front of her.
"I'm fine Zen-san, I'm thankful that you helped me up until now" said Silica
"You know Silica, I actually took advantage of you. I purposely approached you to lure those killer groups out" said Zen.
"Mm-Mm" Silica muttered while shaking her head.
"I'm used to being used by Zen-san. But you're different from some people who take advantage of me" said Silica.
"Different?" ask Zen
"Yeah, because usually people who take advantage of me, only care about their own benefits without looking after mine. But unlike you Zen-san, you always treat me well, and also..." Silica said, but she hesitated to say the next sentence.
"And also?" ask Zen once again
"A-And also you are very handsome" said Silica in a low voice while lowering her head to hide her embarrassment.
"Okay.. Okay. How about now we go back to the inn to revive your friend" Zen said while rubbing Silica's head who was bowing down.
"B-But your cursor is Zen-san?" said Silica who saw Zen's cursor turn yellow.
"Why with my cursor, it just turns yellow" Zen said casually.
"But Zen-san, if you enter the city with a cursor like that, people will ridicule you and might attack you" said Silica who was worried about Zen's condition.
"Then what if you enter the city by yourself and I will enter the city by sneaking. It won't be a problem, will it?" said Zen then.
"B-But…" Silica muttered
"Never mind, I'm sure there won't be any problems" said Zen while trying to reassure Scilica.
After Silica agreed to the plan, the two of them finally started to leave that place towards the city where Silica lived.
After arriving near the city entrance, as originally planned, Silica started to enter the city itself towards the place where she was staying and Zen would head there after Silica arrived at her inn.
While waiting, Zen started texting Asuna and telling her whatever he was going through including telling her about the color of her cursor changing.
Actually Asuna didn't mind it, but because Zen didn't want to cause problems because the cursor changed, this problem affected Asuna. So Asuna suggested that Zen would wander off on his own while waiting for his cursor to turn green, then return to the front line.
But Zen had other plans. Zen then told Asuna the plan, Asuna who saw this plan immediately agreed. Then Asuna advised to be careful and ended their conversation.
"Alright, looks like Silica has arrived at her inn, it's time for me to start sneaking" Zen said then took out a black robe from his storage and put it on.
At the inn, Silica who had arrived feeling restless was waiting for Zen. But the anxiety did not last long, because Zen had arrived in front of his room safely.
"How? Secure it?" said Zen after entering Silica's room and taking off her robe that was used to cover her and Silica smiled back.
"Okay, now take the flower out and let's bring your best friend back to life" said Zen.
"Okay," replied Silica.
Then Silica started to take out the Pneuma flower they got earlier and didn't forget she took out a feather which was the feather of her best friend Pina from her storage.
Then Silica started to reach for the flower and brought it closer to her best friend's fur. manThen he let out a drop of water and started dripping onto the feather.
Then Pina's feathers began to glow and the light began to change into the shape of a small blue dragon that was Silica's best friend, Pina
Seeing that her best friend was successfully revived, Silica without a second thought immediately hugged the little dragon. Seeing this Zen just smiled and let the two of them release their respective longings.
"Pina" said Silica who was hugging her best friend with tears running down her cheeks.
After they let go of their longing for a while, Silica finally realized that there was another person in this room, namely Zen who was currently smiling at her who was currently on the other side.
"I'm sorry Zen-san, I didn't mean to ignore you" said Silica and tweeted back from her best friend Pina.
"Hahahaha, it's fine Silica. Moreover you saw your best friend die in front of you, so it's natural that you miss him so much" Zen replied.
"S-So what are you going to do next Zen-san" said Silica.
"I'll leave this city and start conquering some dungeons while waiting for my cursor to turn green, then return to the takeover group that is on the frontlines" replied Zen.
"So you're leaving huh.." Silica said while trying to force her smile to hide her true feelings.
"The takeover group huh… I'll definitely take a long time to get there" said Silica.
Hearing this Zen then put his hand on Silica's head.
"How about you join my group?" ask Zen
"W-What.. b-but our level is too far Zen-san" said Silica.
"How about this, we'll raise your level enough to be in my group, while I wait for my cursor to turn green?" bargain Zen.
"I-I-I-I" said Silica not knowing what to say. Silica really wanted to follow Zen but she was afraid that she would become a burden to Zen.
"No need to worry Silica, you will become strong and can adventure with us" Zen assured Silica who looked doubtful.
"W-Well, take care of me from now on Zen-san" Silica replied.
Zen then invited Silica into his party and group and was accepted by Silica with a smile on his face.
