After waiting for some time in that place, Zen and Asuna had already started gathering with the other players including Kirito. Right now they were preparing to head to where the floor boss was.
Finally their journey begins. Right now Zen's group was in the back row of the assault group's convoy that was heading for the first floor boss location.
"Have you guys been together for a long time to form a group?" asked Kirito who was on the same level as Zen and Asuna.
"Yeah.. you could say it's been quite a while, so why Kirito?" ask Zen
"So, do you guys already know the attack tactics in the group?" Kirito asked again.
"Attack tactics?" Zen said confused.
"Ohhh.. do you mean swapping tactics or switches?" ask Zen
"Yes, a tactic where one blocks the opponent's attack and the other attacks the distracted opponent" Kirito said.
"Yes, we know the tactic" said Zen
"Alright, then it'll be easy, since we already understand this tactic" Kirito said
Then they continued this journey by chatting casually until they arrived at the boss's location.
"Alright everyone, behind this door is the first floor boss room" Diavel said after all the group arrived at this place.
Then Diavel started to say encouraging words and started to open the door of the room and invite all the players to follow her.
Right now the Zen group was not the core group of this assault group. The Zen group would only distract this floor boss guard, due to the lack of members in the Zen group.
So the task of the Zen group was only to face the bodyguards of this floor boss, the Ruin Kobold Sentinel, until the core group defeated the first floor boss.
That's the plan. But Zen knew, because of the selfishness of the leader of this raid group, Diavel, that plan would start to fall apart.
Finally they all entered the dark room, and far away they could see a silhouette of a monster sitting on its throne.
Finally the silhouette of the monster took the weapon that was beside it and began to descend from its stand by jumping and starting to roar. Suddenly this dark room turned into light and showed the true figure of the monsters in this room.
"ATTACK!!" shouted Diavel who saw that the boss had started to attack with his bodyguards.
The core group then went forward and repelled the boss's attack and tried to separate him from his guards.
"Groups D, E, and F withstand the attacks of the guards" Diavel said after seeing the boss's bodyguards have started to separate, and was greeted by nods by the three groups, including Zen's group.
Seeing a bodyguard coming to attack Zen's group, Kirito activated his sword skill and blocked the bodyguard's attack.
"Swirch" Kirito said
Seeing that Kirito was able to fend off the attack, Zen and Asuna then stepped forward and slashed at the bodyguard until the guard was defeated.
Seeing this, Kirito gasped greatly. Kirito thought the two of his group mates were beginners, but they turned out to be very strong because they managed to slash the bodyguard with just one slash.
Seeing the bodyguard reappearing, Kirito started to wake up from his daydream and started helping his group to attack the guard again. The Zen group began to hold the guard down until the HP of this floor boss was low.
The floor boss who had a little blood started to give off its berserk mode. Seeing this, Diavel told the entire group to retreat and let him fight the floor's boss.
Then Diavel went forward by activating her sword skill, but what she didn't know, this floor boss had a change in the weapon she used during the berserk mode. Kirito who noticed this change started to scream.
"Don't fight him, retreat as far as possible!" Kirito shouted but it was too late.
Diavel who had advanced too much against the floor boss, was unable to withstand the floor boss's attack on him. Getting that attack Diavel started to bounce. Seeing this Kirito while carrying his HP potion started running towards the place where Diavel had fallen.
"Apparently the weapon has been changed" said Zen
"Your fees have been changed?" ask Asuna
"During the beta tester, this monster used a Talwar weapon, but now it's using a Nodachi" said Zen
"Then Zen, what should we do next" asked Asuna
Hearing Asuna's question, Zen started to look at Kirito. Right now Diavel who was on Kirito's lap began to disappear indicating that she had died from the attack she received earlier.
Kirito then stood up and headed towards Zen and Asuna.
"Zen-san, Asuna-san, can you two help me fight it?" said Kirito sticking out his sword at this first floor boss.
"Alright" Zen replied and Asuna nodded.
"Alright attack like the previous formation" Kirito said.
Then the three of them started running menuju towards the first floor boss and started fighting him.
Actually, they could defeat the boss quickly, if Zen was serious about fighting the monster. But Zen wants the Monster to attack Asuna first and remove her cloak just like in the anime.
And that moment arrived. Kirito who managed to fend off the boss's attack, made Asuna rush forward and try to attack him. But unfortunately, the boss had regained his balance and charged towards Asuna.
"ASUNA!" Zen shouted
Hearing Zen's shout, Asuna began to notice an attack coming at her. Asuna then dodged but unfortunately, her cloak was removed due to her imperfect evasive move.
After the cloak disappeared, Asuna immediately threw her attack at the monster and made it take a few steps back from there. Right now Asuna was standing while waving her sword with a serious expression that wasn't covered in anything that hindered her beauty.
"She's really pretty" said Zen who saw Asuna's appearance that wasn't covered by her robe.
After his wish was fulfilled, Zen finally got serious about bringing out his true powers.
Zen is currently running towards the boss alone. Seeing this, the floor boss took out his sword skill and advanced towards Zen. When the monster arrived before Zen, it immediately slashed at Zen with its extremely dangerous power.
"Weak" said Zen who was able to see the boss's attack.
Zen immediately dodged the attack then activated his sword skill and suddenly he was at the back of the boss.
Zen who was behind the floor boss then waved his sword and put it in the scabbard on his back. When the sword was in its scabbard, the floor boss suddenly glowed and disappeared from the place, indicating that it had been defeated.
