Chương 39: Ch. 39 First Mission
(Yuto Pov)
I was waiting outside of the Hokage Office waiting for Kakashi to arrive. As I was waiting with Shiro on my head, I'm on the ground crafting a new smoke bomb with illusion effects when a person inhaled it. With the combination of genjutsu, it could be lethal in the heat of battle.
As I finished with a dozen more, Kakashi finally arrived.
Kakashi:" Sorry I'm late, I saw a black cat on the short path, so I had to take the long path."
' Bullshit,' I thought as i headed inside with Kakashi. Arriving in front of the Hokage Office, Kakashi knocked on the door.
* Knock, knock*
Hokage:" Come in."
Getting permission, Kakashi entered with me following him.
Hokage:" Great, you're both here. Your first mission is here."
Kakashi picked up the scroll from the Hokages desk. And read its contents.
Kakashi:" A C-rank? aren't new genin squad supposed to take D-rank missions."
Shikaku" Yes, but looking at Yutos' performance and his skill sets, we decide to increase the difficulty for your team."
' Basically if I fuck up, I'll be cleaning diapers and chasing cats.'
Hokage:" Yes, we have great expectations for you Yuto."
Kakashi just nodded and we both left, outside of the Hokage Office and went towards the Village gate. Since I have everything on my and my inventory, I both stopped at the village gates where Kakashi explained the mission.
Kakashi:" So our first mission is to investigate someone's background. they're suspected to be selling info to bandits. His name is Kazuo Yamaha. Age 21, single, and a merchant that works with the merchant association, the president of the merchant association is suspecting Kazou to be dealing with bandits. Our mission is to find evidence and let his gaurds do the rest."
" Alright, so we're heading to the capital to meet the president of the Merchant Association."
Kakashi:" Correct, and since I'm sure you're ready, and since it's the afternoon already well, be able to get there at night."
" At night, huh, wonder who made us wait till the afternoon to pick up the mission."
Kakashi just ignored what I said and looked away, whistling as he started tree jumping.
Sighing as I followed after him and jumping through the trees to reach Kakashi. And we both headed towards the capital without saying anything.
* Late Afternoon*
Kakashi:" And here we are, the capital."
With huge gates and buildings, we both headed inside. We're walking around passing many carts and civilians. There were also shinobis that were guarding carts and their buyers. There were also mercenary shinobis as well.
" Yeesh, with all these people, my antisocial side is coming up."
Kakashi:" Same here." He said as he was reading his book.
Me and Kakashi walked to a huge building that said Merchamt Association. Walking inside, Kakashi put away his book and greeted the receptionist.
Kakashi:" Hello, we're here to meet the president for the mission he put up."
Receptionist:" Ah, yes, the president is expecting you. You could head up now. "
Kakashi:" Thank you, we'll be going now."
As he said that, we headed to the top floor. Knocking as we both waited until we heard a voice that gave us permission to enter.
???:" Let'em in"
The doors opened by two guards in samurai armor.
???:" I'm Ryuji, the president of this association."
Ryuki was an older man with a beard and hair styled in a ponytail. And as he waved his hands, the gaurds moved out of the room.
Ryuji:" I asked for your assistance, I expected a full squad, but that doesn't matter if you're able to complete this mission. I'll be able to reward you two extra. Here are the files of Kazous movements these past weeks. Unfortunately, I can't help you with this."
accepting the scroll, we headed outside.
" Well, that was quick."
Kakashi:" Yes, let's find somewhere to rest."
We managed to find a hotel, and the moment Kakashi was about to pay.
Kakashi:" Ahem, Yuto, you know I always respected you as a student, but could you pay.."
" Guess we'll be sleeping outside," I said as I walked away, and Kakashi looked on.
Kakashi:" Sigh, fine, I'll pay. You're no fun. "
" What's the point of having fun with a pervert."
The receptionist of the hotel looked at Kakshi with a disgusted face.
Kakashi:" Ahem, let's just go to our rooms, and we'll start investigate tomorrow."
" Uh huh, just make sure not to make a mess when you're reading that filthy book."
Kakashi:" What book?" He put his hands up, acting innocent.
I closed the door on my face and put Shiro on the futon, and as I got ready to go into the second floor in the dungeon.
' Iris, take me to the second floor of the dungeon.'
< Yes, sir!>
As she responded, the portal in front of opened up, and I entered. As I entered, I looked at the surroundings. It was filled with trees and the moonlight shining above.

< Yes, sir, but you're in a separate dimension with demons that aren't Canon.>
' I see.'
Demon:" Fffffoooooddd!!!"
I responded to Iris as I took out the katana and beheaded a demon that was about to sneak attack from behind.
" Welp, let's just get this over with." I said as I walked away from the Demon that turned to ashes.
' Hmm, it seems that the Elemental Katana is able to kill Demons as well. good to know.'
