Ciara's POV
His fingers still lingered on my jaw as he whispered, "Get yourself ready for tonight."
My left leg took a step back. The crowd cheered loudly as he pulled away and scooped me up into a bridal carry. He carried me out of the venue and towards the waiting limousine.
A valet held open the sleek black car. I threw my bouquet into the crowd without looking back to see who caught it.
Settling into the limousine, I turned to gaze out the window, my expression blank as I lost myself in thought. I refused to look at him, but I could feel his eyes on me as he sighed, his breath caressing my skin.
A few minutes later, the limousine reversed and turned down another street. I had assumed we were headed home, but that didn't seem to be the case. Other luxurious cars were following behind us.
