Money-Grabbing Daoist!

General: Overall interesting concept. It's a little sad how early the "money as means of power" was revealed, it could've made for a good twist somewhere further down the line, especially considering the size these novels tend to reach. Story development: It's somewhat the old classic of 'secretly being from a powerful family but never knew it' but it's also not, it's a lot fresher and feels better. There isn't much story development to speak of though, since we only passed the initial buildup atm. Character design: Solid skills here, most important characters don't rely on cliché only but get their own interesting twists. World background: Essentially the same as story development. Writing quality: Decent. There are still some issues with most casual/inexperienced authors hardest struggle of applying "show, don't tell" (f.e. not just saying someone is constantly angry, but giving a short peek to let the reader see he is, or at least not writing it all in his character introduction, but letting another character of the world explain it.) but it's definitely executed better than in many other works on qidian and it's something I expect to get better as the author gains experience throughout the book.
