Chương 60: Rich and Beautiful

At De hotels in Misty City...

Miss Vivian was seated with legs crossed in the hotel lounge with the manager standing with his back slightly bent forward.

"My assistant booked the VIP room last week against today Wednesday. This is already 1 pm, why is the room still not mine yet?" Vivian asked with a calm voice whilst taking a sip from a mug.

The manager shivered at her voice. He dreaded that calm voice with hidden dangers.

"The guest was supposed to check out of the room yesterday, but he decided against it. He extended the time he would be spending..."

"What you are saying in one word is..." She cut in mid sentence.

"We are really sorry, we will arrange the second best room for you," The manger said.

Vivian eyes flashed. She knew who that person was. She stood up and walked away.

"Was that a yes?" The confused manager asked the waiter standing behind him who shrugged his shoulders. 'How was i supposed to know what that scary lady is thinking' he thought.

Vivian was on her way out of the hotel with her entourage when she bumped into Mo Lingtian who was also going out.

They both paused when they saw each other and Vivian curled her fiery red lips and said.

"Lingtian, you are here too?"

"Hmm. " Mo Lingtian answered nonchalantly.

Vivian snickered. 'Her laugh sounded so rich and beautiful' thought some men who were going in and out of the hotel.

"I have been in the country for a month," she answered. "Hi Mozi. I never thought I would see you here too." She said when she saw Qi Mozi walking over from the elevator.

"Ah, Vivian long time no see. When did you arrive? Shouldn't we have a seat?" Mozi suggested as standing and talking didn't feel that great, but he didn't forget to look at Mo Lingtian's face for approval.

"No need, I was on my way out" both Mo Lingtian and Vivian said at the same time and Vivian smiled. "I will come find you when I'm back" she said and Mo Lingtian ignored her and she walked away.

After she left, Qi Mozi asked: "How long has it been since we last saw her?"

"Two years and ten months." Mo Lingtian answered as he walked forward with Qi Mozi walking alongside him.

"Oh, that is two years after that incident." Mozi Sighed. "She didn't bother coming to the hospital." He shook his head.

Although he already knows everything, he only wanted to pull Mo Lingtian out of his trance. That's incident has always been Mo Lingtian's sore spot.

Mo Lingtian looked at him from the corner of his eyes and said. "She did"

"How so? we didn't see her and you never said anything about it." Qi Mozi said, but Mo Lingtian ignored the question.

He took that as a clue that Mo Lingtian no longer wanted to talk about it, so he changed the topic. He knew ruffling his feathers wasn't something that would end well. He might descend on Vivian with rage.

"How are you going to convince WY to marry you? I feel it won't be easy" said Qi Mozi as they worked towards their car.

Inside Vivian's car, Vivian looked at the two handsome men walking towards their car from her window. Her gaze lingered on Mo Lingtian for a while before she ordered the chauffeur to start driving.

She rested her back head on the seat and went into reverie.

A small girl of about four to five years old was seen walking towards four boys of almost same age who were sitting together and discussing.

"Brother Lingtian, my doll has fallen into the water." she said with a sad pout on her face.

Mo Lingtian excused himself and went with her to get the doll which had already floated far from his reach in the swimming pool.

He turned to her and said "Vivian, the doll cannot be taken anymore. It's soaking wet and also far from my reach. I will get you a new one in a while" he reached out his hand and patted her head.

"Ok brother Lingtian" she smiled happily and walked away with Mo Lingtian to the other other children.

"Lingtian sure knows how to take care of girls. He will charm a lot of girls' heart in the future." Teased Mo Nalan, Mo Lingtian's older brother, born from their father's assistant.

"I will only be the one in his heart, hmph!" Vivian interjected.

"We hope so" contributed Mi Cheng.

"She has a wild dream" Qi Mozi added.

The picture changed to nine years later with the five children all grown up and Vivian still attached to Mo Lingtian.

"Lingtian, I can't seem to get this right. Help me out" Vivian took her book to Mo Lingtian who was also working on his.

"Ask the others for help, I'm busy" Mo Lingtian said with his head down in concentration.

"No" she stumped her foot "they won't help me. Brother Mo Nalan will tease me for being dumb. Brother Qi Mozi will say he doesn't help girls and brother Mi Cheng will be looking at me with weird eyes." She pouted.

The other three guys who weren't far from them laughed at her tantrum.

"Lingtian help her out else she won't leave you alone" Mo Nalan said.

Mo Lingtian sighed and stretched out his hand to take the book from her. After helping her with solving the problems, she put her book aside and started talking instead, disturbing Mo Lingtian who was about to start studying.

"Brother Lingtian, what university are you applying to? Don't say, 'when we get there, we'll cross the bridge' I need a genuine answer." She asked.

Mo Lingtian ignored her and kept on studying.

"Lingtian, it's rude to keep ladies waiting." Mo Nalan intervened.
