Hollie had a serious fever that night. She had been suffering from lung disease for two years. Today, due to Williams's accident, she was anxious, plus the autumn coldness, which made her disease out of control.
Simon wrote a prescription to support her body, but she didn't value her health very much, as if life or death didn't matter to her. If it weren't for Williams, she would have let go.
Simon comforted her for a moment. Hollie wouldn't listen, but told him not to let her parents know that her old illness had recurred.
Simon said, "If you pity your parents, you should take good care of yourself. Now you are the only one they have. If something happens to you, how can you let them face the rest of their lives?"
